Nice resort, landscaping a bit overgrown, rooms nice, service inattentive. On the final morning water was not available for us to shower and it was a battle with front desk to get a partial discount which was a bit of in unpleasant experience.

Beautifull beach. But you need around 2 hours from airport to reach this place. You should arrange your flight not in night. Very quiet place you will enjoy diving or swimming with your friends or family.

Some of the best service I've ever experienced. The staff were friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. Boat trips and road transport were easy to organise. The location is amazing and I will definitely be back!

I think that I’ve never really written a bad review, but out of almost a month all over Lombok staying in places all over the spectrum, this is the only place we stayed that we had anything really negative to say.
The positives were the beautiful grounds and the rooms were so comfortable and clean. The beach was perfect for swimming at high tide (but can use some more chairs I think). The Spa is terrific! I loved my massage therapist, she was really lovely and I got 4 treatments over my stay because it was SO nice.
Most of the staff were super friendly, helpful, inviting and fun to talk to! But there are 2-3 that seem really unmotivated – specifically late evening/dinner staff – we had one really lame dinner experience.
I am far from being a foodie – but the meals here are totally bland/tasteless. And the annoying part is that there are really not many options for leaving and going elsewhere unless you do some leg work during the day to see where you might want to go AND have a scooter/transportation – but there are a few bungalow properties around and I’m confident you’d find better meals there or at a warung in one of the villages.
Which leads me to the next negative. You’re in a great location to explore south west Lombok, BUT you will have to rent a scooter from the hotel which is double/triple what you will find anywhere else on the island. My partner actually overheard a staff member telling another guest that they can charge that because there’s no one else to rent from. So they completely rip off guests in this respect and is where I lost my respect for the hotel. Guide books, the internet and the Lombok magazine/newspaper all say to expect to pay 50-70,000 but cocotinos charges 150,000. In the end, its not even about the money – its about not ripping off your guests because you can.
A plus seems to be that they have their own diving company, however my partner also said that his normal dive trip was significantly more expensive than a re-introduction lesson + dive trip that he took on gili air. He also was glad that another guest on the trip was an experienced diver because he did not feel confident with the companies dive guy.
So anyway, I wouldn’t go back.response / report this review -

We arrived with the expectation the beach was longer, wider, cleaner and white sand. Plus the ability to swim. Instead it was a small, dirty unraked beach. The reason for our 3 day stay was to relax and swim in the sea. The trip to the Gili's also disappointing. The Food was bland and tasteless. Rooms were good size, clean and comfortable. However with the beach and food issue we could not stay the 3 days and moved outselves to Kuta on 2nd day. We lost money and believe your website imagery is very misleading.

Awesome place to rest and very friendly staff. You can walk straight from the resort onto a private beach and definitely also go to the Nanggu island and go snorkeling there. It's worth it!

Very beautiful hotel ! Excellent rooms: confortable with two showers (one inside and one outside). Clean. very good breakfast. Very good snorkeling trip offered.
Lot more expensive that everything you can find on Lombok. Don't expect them to give you advice on anything as they will offer you everything but four times as expensive as everything else on the island (car rental for instance).response / report this review -

Schön gelegen, sehr ruhig. Anlage sehr gepflegt, persönlich und geschmackvoll. Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Empfehlenswert sind die Ausflüge mit der hoteleigenen Tauchschule, wunderschöne Schnorchel- und Tauchausflüge abseits der üblichen Tourismusrouten.
Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier goldrichtig, wer Nachtleben und Party sucht wird nicht fündig.response / report this review
