I can’t say the food wasn’t good, the pizza crust was excellent. The ambiance is also nice. Price however is a bit high, and they are not generous with the extras you order (barely had half of a slice of my extra eggplant). I would suggest making more pizza choices (at a slightly higher price) so you don’t feel compelled to add extras. Or increase the quantity of each extra.

The authentic Italian food in this remote place made for a great experience. The pizza reminded me in many ways of my friends Neapolitan grandmother who would make delicious pizza. The fresh ingredients used make the pizza even better so I would recommend the vegetarian version.
I also very much enjoyed the red wine whose grapes come from Australia but is made in Bali.
Overall delicious experience and a welcome contrast to the local dishes.response / report this review -

Best Pizza I have eaten in the last 6 months or so while traveling. And I probably eat a pizza once a week, so that is high praise.
They know exactly what they are doing here and get the flavours and base spot on.

One of our best pizza 🍕 while travelling. Extra Garlic and ask for their chili 🌶 oil if you like spicy. Don't miss to visit their new burger 🍔 restaurant "Perla Nera". good for vegetarians and Vegans, too.

Genuine Italian, BEST pizza every (and this is coming from someone who doesn't even like pizza). Perhaps the only place we found in Bali and Gili which we were happy with. Very clean, unlike most places in all of these islands. Food was FANTASTIC and worth every dime! Also the only place where people are not trying to rip you off. We highly recommend it. Also a tip- book a table as it is very difficult to find a spot, thus we booked a table the next day. Thank you

What a great surprise this place turned out to be. After 2 weeks of trying to find a good Pizza place in Bali, we gave up and decided not to try until back in NYC but limited food options in Gili Air brought us to Classic Italiano. We loved it so much that we came back the following day. We had Margarita Pizza, Lasagna and Tiramisu - everything was just right and hit the spot. Pizza was think crust with balanced proportion of sauce and Cheese, lasagna was hearty but not oily - with their spice chilly sauce, it was even better. Had a bottle of their cab with it and felt like we were in Rome (plus heavy island rain 😊). Highly recommended!!!

If you love pizza you can't miss that place. Excellent service but you need to be prepared to wait because it's a very busy place and reservations are strongly recommended

Definitely the best Tiramisu i have ever had quite possibly the best pizza also!

Proper Italian place, owned by an Italian couple it seems. Well traibed, super friendly staff and owners, Fast service, delicious Pizza and loved that they limit the menu to just a few amazing dishes instead of Asian style having 300 dishes to choose from which are all bad. Espresso and dribks are good too, I just did not get why a prope Italian place is serving spaghetti and meatballs, It got busy fast, I just got there when it opened but it was quite full only 30 minutes later and half the tables were reserved. So dont go there to late or get a reservation.

Excellent Pizzas! Authentic Italian Restaurant. We arrived there around 6.30 pm. At that time we found easily a table. But then the restaurant filled more and more and people even queued up to get seated in front of the restaurant.

You might think that you can just walk in to any restaurant in Gili and get a table Not this one! Make sure you book in advance before getting here! The pizzas are fantastic.. And the Tiramisu is even better!

This place was 30 second walk from our hotel (scallywags) and didn't think much off it at first.
We where so wrong. Place was amazing and so well priced. Very authentic pizza and great fresh ingredients. We got there just before 7 when it opens at 6 and already it was so busy. They even do a take away as it gets full very fast. So get there early or get a reservation. My girlfriend isn't kean on Italian but she was in heaven, for this cute little place hidden away down one of the walk paths. Drinks where also so fresh an flavoursome.

Real Italian pizza on Gili Air. And "real" means authentic here. Crust, tomato, cheese everything. Friendly staff, well organized and a good espresso on top. No. 1 Restaurant for Western food on Gili Air.

Best tiramisu and pizza hands down. Crispy crackly crust, just enough char and smoky flavor to add to the experience. Awesome tomato sauce on the pizza. Fresh ingredients.
You can taste and feel the texture of the lady fingers in the tiramisu. It is part of the textural play this desert presents to your palate. Not too sweet, almost light while being creamy at the same time.response / report this review -

Review of restaurant.
I ordered a "make it yourself" pizza and added double prawns (usually get 4pcs) and double anchovies (usually 7g)
When my pizza arrived it looked great apart from the distinct lack of prawns and anchovies..
I saw the total of about 3 whole prawns, I say that because they were cut into tiny pieces. Definitely wasn't 8 whole prawns as I expected.
Similar story with the anchovies, I tasted two small thumbnail pieces and that was it. I was expecting the usual fillets of anchovies and whole prawns..
All in all a good place to eat but could use some improvements.

Incredible thin crust authentic Italian pizza served on rectangular pieces of plywood. Best pizza I have had in years and this includes pizza I had in New York or in Italy. Place is owned and operated by an Italian couple and they clearly know what they are doing. Yum!!
