Very impressing view on the volcanos if the weather is good. Also the sunrise is worth seeing. BUT a lot of jeep and innumerable motorcycles bring massive tourists upward. Like Rush hour at the main station.

Went here during the rainy season. TERRIBLE, the thick fog and the light rain obscures the view of the mountain. Also even in weekdays the crowds are huge and bothering. The good thing here are the snacks and the hot tea.

If you go during rainy season you won't see anything due to dense fog. Remember, your ticket doesn't include the price for the jeep (another 600,000 on top of ticket price) You can not avoid talking jeep. They'll make you do so. However, you don't need to book any overpriced tours. It's an easy drive with car rental from Surabaya and Google maps work. Perfect signal at the top. Going on your own will save you almost $300 USD

Beautiful spot. Would want to give it 5 Unfortunately alot of tourists, overcrowded.. crazy photographers that push everyone aside. Again view is amazing.its the mass crowding that makes it less enjoyable
