  Not welcoming to monks outside of their own group, the pali term here is 'avasa macchariya' greed relating to place, comes from both the monastics and lay communities but systemic in poorly practiced dhamma-vinaya communities in general. Finances of the monastery are never made known to the monks, made up silly new rules regarding guest monks not being allowed to stay more than three days (which the Buddha forbade aparahaniya sutra), is meant for protection but in reality is used for ulterior motives. Having said that the average persons mind state is still relatively wholesome as they have faith in the buddha and the monastery facilities regular activities relating to dhamma propagation and Dana for the samanas so there is some dhamma there but not pure.
