Great food and nice place. Staff is super nice and friendly. I had the beef rendang which was great, the flavour was a bit watered down but that could be for catering to tourists. We also had The Biku deluxe burger, the Patty was a bit dry but over it was good.

I will be going back to try more things in their menu. So many interesting things on it.

Exceptional small restaurant. Great dishes, live music & very friendly service. Make sure to order tea: you will not only get a tea but instead a full tea ceremony.
    Can only recommend this place!

Savoury food was absolutely disappointing. They went too far from traditional taste, tried to hip it up, and made the final taste quite awful. I had lamb shank that didn't peel off the bone - hard as a rock. That said, its desserts redeemed it from just 1 star. The chocolate fondant and the banoffie pie were simply divine. I would come here for afternoon tea or cake but I'd never ever recommend dinner here to anyone. Ginger moon was far better.

The food is too far away from its traditional taste. They tried to be hip, but failed. The portions are very small, too. Presentation is decent, but that is the only good part. Hence two, not one star.
There are much better places in Bali to spend your time and money on.

Correction: the desserts are fantastic. If it were purely a dessert place, I'd give it 5/5.

Fantastic. Their Burger is amazing. Their Beef Randung is fantastic. Their atmosphere is perfect. And their service is off the charts. And the cake :-) Price is total value. Not very expensive at all for the quality. Even locals can afford it. Thank you Biku for showing good service and excellent food with fair price can happen in Bali.

One of the more well known restaurant in Seminyak. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Food is excellent. Different varieties of Australian, Indonesian and European food and dishes. Well known for its scones, which is served with both home made whipped cream and strawberry jam. They have live music on weekends and tarot reading at certain hours. Service is excellent and wine is good.

Excellent service, interesting place. Large selection of tea and food. They cater for allergies and vegan/veg as well as Indo and western food. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Food was delicious. Biku cooler was a refreshing drink on a hot day. They have a tarot card reader here for 150k, but you must book in advance.

This is a very nice place to chill the afternoon at. The restaurant is highly rated online and have a wide range of food to choose from. breakfasts brunch set, Indonesian mains, and steaks. They have interesting drinks concoctions Eg. turmeric antioxidants dose. If you already have had too much Indonesian spicy food they have light breakfast muesli and potato cakes with eggs. I would recommend coming here. Price point is from20-40,000 a non alcoholic drink, to the most expensive on the menu is a pork belly at 135,000. The other things on menu are about at 50,000 thereabout.

The service was good. Food was good too. I had high tea. The scones were awesome. I also tried the asian high tea, there was a spicy tart, the tart shell was so hard that it was inedible. That's my only complain. It seems that they have an impressive variety of tea though. Next time I"ll just try the teas and scones.

Been here during different times of the day and feel like Biku is best for afternoon tea. The carrot cake is simply sublime and they have a great selection of tea that goes well with it. The price is very acceptable and portions are appropriate. The antique, local Balinese vibe makes it overall perfect.

The Balinese decor of this restaurant is very inviting and cozy for guests. There is a spread of menu items available, ranging from more traditional Balinese dishes to Western and Italian food. They also serve interesting "local" drinks and cocktails for those interested in trying. The reasonable prices, ambience and quality of food makes this place a must visit for people staying in the area!

Came here on recommendation of the local tour guide and was not disappointed! Just loved their delicious food, great atmosphere and always smiling hostess and waiters. Be sure to make a reservation online if you are planning to come here for dinner as it gets packed fast. Highly recommend visiting this gem at least once!

beautiful setting, in an old Javanese style house, huge range of teas to choose from, and a lovely afternoon tea display. My daughter loves the children's tea, as she gets a little teapot all to herself. Plenty of other drinks and food to choose from too

Fabulous High Teas as well as great menu for any meal or time. Food is sensational and the staff are well trained and very attentive. The decor is authentic and you can even browse and shop in their gift shop area. Parking is available and a handy ATM is available at the side of carpark.

Friendly staff, the food taste good. Although when you ask for some water they would probably forget and give it to you 15-20 min later which they need to work on. Prices are average/cheap and the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing.

Staff was nice and food was mehh. They don't allow outside water which makes sense and they offer "mineral water" but they bring it out opened. The after taste is just as bad as the smell of the canals that lead into the ocean.
We came here cause we saw online that there were tea readings but we found out after arrival that they don't do that anymore. I didn't see anything posted on their website about that though.
Don't come here hungry. You're paying more for atmosphere.
Dessert cakes (ones with eggs/milk/cream) just sit out in the heat all day so avoid if you have a sensitive stomach.

Absolutely fantastic service by staff. We had the rib eye steak with veggies cooked to perfection. Dessert was Affogatta - icecream with baileys and coffee, and chocolate mousse with mango sorbet - which completed an amazing meal. Highly recommended and very family/children friendly.

Loving the tea selection! Tried its high tea, not impressed as I was hoping they can serve more of Indonesian variety of kue basah. I'm very surprised if they ever treat local Indonesian differently from English speaking foreigners, I think I should pay them a visit and experience it myself 😝

There were 4 empty tables with only 1 that had the "RESERVED" sign, yet the waitress said all 4 tables are reserved and put us on a shared table with a fan blowing to us directly.
Can't a place like Biku buy more "RESERVED" sign to put on the tables?
They put on the sign that said (more or less) "All debit and creditcard in Indonesia is experiencing a system down started 3pm today" well you know what, I went to Revolver after that and succeeded paying with creditcard.

I've heard that this place treat us-local tourist- differently than the foreigner, yesterday I experienced it myself. We can pay for the food and service, no reason to treat us differently.
Shame on you Biku. Worst service ever.

My partner and I loved the food at Biku. We were there for breakfast. We had vanilla bourbon iced tea, moroccon mint tea, nasi goreng, mie goreng and potato cakes. All of the food tasted great. And the eggs that came with our dishes (cooked 3 different styles) are all great. I also liked that they sold woven dolls that supported their local community - a business that gives back. Staff were also friendly and pleasant. Will keep coming back!

Biku is a gem in the Main Street of Seminyak. The food here is deliciously consistent, with a variety of Indonesian and Western food to choose from. Food standards are of a high quality, and the customer service is excellent. You can go here for Afternoon High Tea, or enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner meal. Drink choices are outstanding: from teas to cocktails and the coffee here is comparable to Melbourne coffee
