We gave this place a 5-star review. Not that it is a 5-star hotel, far from that. Far better indeed. Visit this place when you love the sea (at 20 meter distance), love good Indonesian food served in the simple restaurant, love to be away from any stress.
The villa is basic, made from bamboo. It has two rooms and two large beds also from bamboo. The mattresses are of “local” quality. There is a fan in each room and mosquito nets. In front of the villa is a perfect large veranda with two tables and a lot of chairs.
The toilet is outside and you can take a shower with a view on the ocean.
Each morning, we went to the sea, straight out of our beds. After the delicious breakfast (included) we spent most of our time on this veranda. Reading, talking, sometimes using the Internet (there is good WiFi). Dinner, we ate at the restaurant. The food there is so much better that in the local restaurants.
We did not use the mosquito nets, the wind from the sea and the fan were enough to keep the mosquitos out. During sunset insect repellent was needed on the veranda.
Annie, the wife of the owner, guided us to the Hot Springs, where we were the only tourists, really very nice.
We stayed here 5 nights and had an unforgettable time.response / report this review -
