  I stayed at Bidara Homestay in this summer for three nights and I had an amazing time. If you want to get away of the crowd and be surrounded by lovely local people this is the place to go. They open you with open arms and show you a total other side of indonesia, a non-touristic one and a more beautiful one. I can only recommend it. Yani (the host) will treat you like her own family, cook delicious food and the rooms are very neat.

  I visited this homestay before and i had a good experience there. The owner was very friendly. I liked the green garden in which the homestay is located.
  You can relax at the beach or make an excursion to the island to see many colored coral and fish.

  Très bon moment passé là-bas. Juste le temps d'un dîner excellent. Mais un hôtel était déjà réservé ailleurs donc on n'a pas pu profiter plus longtemps. Je recommande

  Bidara Homestay is just that: a home from home. The friendly, kind and helpful owner Yarni is a Grade 'A' cook, guide and hostess. The rooms are clean with en suite cold showers (who needs hot water here?) and the windows are mosquito-proofed so you can enjoy the fresh sea breeze, 1 minute from the beach. You can book with Air BnB, and Yarni will help you with any questions online before you arrive.
  There are amazing, untouched smaller islands nearby with superb snorkelling and protected corals. Highly recommended.

  Went here several times during my visit to Sambelia. I met the owner, they are so friendly and helpful. There is not many visitor in Sambelia so it was nice to be around them because they usually stay late night and also sell some drinks and food.
