Great little place and atmosphere. Prices are very good. Just the toilets outside that are not very pleasant

Sweet little Café with good Food, good wifi and friendly staff.
You will also get water for free.
Not useable for disabled people because of the stairs, but they have takeaway.
We can highly recommend this cafe, opposite of the cafe there is a big parking space area, you can park there for only 2000 Rupiah
    Various styles of cheesecake available😊

A really fun spot. You can sit upstairs or downstairs (AC but tiny spot) you can get some filtered water for free, but it isn't chilled. It is Cash Only so have some on hand.
The set menu with a breakfast wrap and a juice is good value for money. The juice was good. And the breakfast wraps was really tasty. The service was a little lacking, but most people didn't seem to mind. Overall good spot.

Could feature for a typical balinese cafe - charming and relaxing. We tried a couple of dishes and they were great and well priced. The cafe itself is one the first floor and failry open and airy. One side of the cafe has a lounge like setting and a great place to take a book and sit and relax for some time .

Went here for dinner, and got the last couple of seats so either be early or make an reservation. I had the falafel bowl which was good, but to make it vegan I had to remove feta and the yogurt and did not get any substitution, so it would have been better with some sauce. There where humus however which was good. The betleroot wrap that my friend had was top notch, according to her.

One of the best choices around Batu Bolong st in Canggu to hace lunch/dinner. Healthy choices, veggie options and all of them tasty. Good juices also. Deco natural materials/wood with a terrace upstairs and a communal table. When we went 2 years ago you could enjoy a nice overview of the rice fields in front unfortunately now is a parking.

My favourite place in Canggu, awesome tacos and burritos. We never had a bad meal here. I would highly recommend this place, prices are extremely fair, meals around 60k.

Such a pleasure to be in a place that support the mother nature while also serve wide variety of healthy foods. The overall place would get crowded easily, so make a reservation is better. No more rice field as its view, but you will have a dedicated parking lot for exchange. Be always prepared to bring cash here. They do not accept cards (both debits and credit cards).

Best place to eat on the island that I've found. Period. Whatever I ordered was good. It has a hippy dippy kinda menu aimed at the sort of aspiring yoga instructors you meet around here. That's not me. But the food actually tasted wonderful.

No dogmas or karmas here. The food was solid.

One of my favorites in Canggu. The second time was the best but I forgot to take a photo. We got the chickalicious wrap and the Sayur bowl. I don’t remember what I got the first time but it wasn’t as good as the sayur bowl. The wrap was excellent.

Amazing delicious food with plenty of offer for every taste. Great options for vegetarians!! Breakfast bowls to die for, beautifully catered and served. Chilled relaxed place in an upper floor above the main road which makes it extra pleasant. Really nice natural furniture and decoration. A must in Canggu!

Been here twice now and had the set 1 breakfast both times and has been unreal.

Perfectly poached eggs both times crispy bacon and just a good hearty meal.

Would reccommend to anyone in the canggu area to visit Betelnut Cafe

I’ve come here twice and both were totally different experiences. When I came for breakfast it was great. Food was tasty and exactly what it said on the menu, a bit pricey but worth it for the amount of choice there was and the quality of the ingredients, for this time I would rate the place a 4.

However I went again for lunch and that would get a 1. I ordered a vegilicious burrito and when it was brought out to me it was more of a lettuce wrap with a few measly grains of rice and corn. It was supposed to be filled with vegetables and being a burrito, rice. But 90% of it was kale. Due to this I sent it back and the staff didn’t seem to understand my qualm. I was then informed by some people at the table next to us that they had been told that there was no rice left. If the restaurant has run out of an ingredient listed in a dish, they should be informing the customers or taking it off the menu. They did take it off the bill for me which redeemed things but all in all it was a disappointing experience and has put me off returning.

As the breakfast level on Bali is so amazing high this place seems only average compared to all the wonderful places around. Staff seems bored, signs tell you to leave after you finish your meal as others are waiting, portion size quite small. Taste was ok.

Awesome food, you have to come here at least once. Fish burrito is probably one of the best meals in Canggu.

Turn up slightly earlier than normal meal times to guarantee a seat. 6:30 is best, an hour later you may queue for 15 minutes.

The bowls! Yum! Betelnut happened to be one of the first bowls I had and over the course of two months in Bali I searched all over for a bowl that compared to Betelnut's and no such thing every appeared. Also a big fan of the breakfast burrito. Yum yum! Go enjoy ;)

Overrated. 3* max food at a push. Table we sat at had backbreaking chairs, which were too low as well, with a dog sitting directly behind us. Wouldn't revisit. Also if you're sitting downstairs and someone upstairs moves their chair or table around, dirt and sand falls from the ceiling so make sure you cover your food. Not sure what the people rating this 10/10 have been eating in the past. Pure gas. Don't believe the hype.

Love this place whether it's breakfast, lunch or evening meal (or a cheeky cheesecake on the way past). Often quite busy but that's for a reason. Prices are super sensible and there's a super varied menu to get through. It's become our goto place when we're in Canggu

Good fries, drinks and chocolate but the burgers they served us were quite undercooked (one was still red inside while the other was still mushy and raw). I lived with mine but we sent the other back only to be greeted with a similarly-undercooked second try. The staff were very apologetic except the (I assume) manager, who tried to tell us that they had cooked the burger for 15 minutes already and that that's just how their burgers are Overall a very nice place but I'm not sure I'd go back.

My favorite place in Canggu for breakfast. Great selection of smoothies, breakfast fruit bowls and various ways for eggs- always served in a delicious way. If you are after healthy shots, young coconuts, juices and good breads this is the place. From yogis to surfers they will satisfy everyone. They also have a tempting selection of raw desserts, my favourites are raw cheesecakes! You must try this spot!

Favourite part about Betelnut is the view. If you're lucky enough to go when it's not packed, you can get a great perch upstairs. Service can be fairly consistent when it's not very busy but when it is, and that is usually the case, expect long waits and unapologetic order mixups. The menu has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. While some dishes can be good, and the desserts in the freezer always look tempting, the food is not especially good. There are other restaurants in the area that are a much better experience. There is a bad odour upstairs, especially in the booths, and nothing feels particularly clean. It has potential, but it feels a bit neglected and over-hyped.
