To anyone thinking of having dinner here: DON'T. They kept us waiting for almost 1 hour, the food was not good, and it was super expensive.

Betelnut is an amazing events venue with with wide range of performances from local music, visiting poets, comedy shows and Pecha Kucha nightssomething fro everyone. Run by awesome friendly hosts, this is the best performance venue in Ubud by a mile.

When I look from the outside,I like the decoration and decided to dinner.
It was the most disappointing meal I eat in Bali,is just microwave food.
Absolutely horrible and the price you see in the menu don't have the service taxes include.

Kinda theater with better sofa and food. Best way to enjoy movie and dinner all together.

According to the staff, this 'Betelnut' has nothing to do with the one in Canggu. It shows!

Lifeless (I was the only customer during my visit) in a large area seating about 60 - certainly doesn't help being in a small mall forcourt, ordinary cocktail (Long Island Ice Tea) and a disappointing meal. The 'Cellophane noodles with pork' required a magnifying glass to find the tiny pork pieces, of which there were few.

Given the vast number of other eateries in Ubud, there is no point in trying this one.

I didn't try the food, but the musical performance by Rizal, Matajiwa, et al was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Incredible, inspirational music. Good people, good vibes. If you get the chance to see a show there, don't miss it!
