Overall, it was a good staying here, very comfort clean, and the swimming pool good enough. However I felt disappointed because I need to pay more when I change the type of bed from twin bed to queen bed (1 big bed). It's charge IDR. 100.000 for two days. I never experienced this before in other hotel (it will be free of charge when I request to change the queen to twin or reverse) so I think this hotel wants to get more money from me, it was make I felt disappointed.

Igot 1 bed instead of twin I reserved, but I am really satisfied because the size of the bed is big. The width of the bed is important to us. All very clean and nice air. Nice and helping staffs too. Thank you.
Just have to improve your restaurant to be better and faster serving. And the breakfast could be better with adding variety of food, especially nuts and better sausage taste for us.

The hotel is located on the central area of the city making it easy to access. The room is clean and spacious so it is convenient for rest and activity. The receptionist and room boy are very nice and friendly. What needs to be improved is the hospitality of the concierge at the restaurant.

Tell you this, this place is so so. Ain't a great place, but, if you need a budget hotel, with quite a satisfying place to rest, then I could recommend you this place. Their service are fantastic, how fast does it take for a check in? This place could do it for 5 minutes. For a budget hotel this place are strongly recommended, especially for this place are located near various popular points in Malang.

• Good price. Even I get free mini bar. Woow..
• Disney Junior channel available
• Nice & wide room
Cons:
• Mask placed in some point, including room. My kids hate them.

the view from OJ cafe is good.at night its breezy and nice. on the weekends they have live music too. the price is still okay. we only ordered drinks a d snacks here

Located near train station, it was a really nice place to stay in Malang. Spent 2 nights for mice purpose, and luckily we got sky meeting room which was on rooftop. The view was majestic, city landscape with mountain on background. Breakfast and lunch were also delicious. Only got dissapointed with the closed minibar, we had to ask room service to clear it so we could use the fridge.

The rate is affordable. For government employee don't forget to bring identity card from your office. The room is clean and comfortable. I am taking pictures with with the mask in the room.

Overall this hotel was quite good. Room was quite spacious and clean, breakfast was standard, good location (near the famous bakso bakar cak man), staff was quite friendly. But still need improvement on pool and gym area. The only disappointing this is the lift. The lift is too small, we often had too wait for long time because it was always packed. We used the stairs instead, faster than waiting the lift 😝

This hotel used to be called 'Best Western OJ'. Nice hotel with good location, within walking distance to a lot of places to eat and also city center (alun-alun).
The room is spacious, and the twin beds are large while the lobby is quite small but pretty with the mirror ceiling. The lobby is directly connected to the restaurant used for breakfast. There is also a restaurant / cafe skyroom on the topmost floor which has nice view.

The staff are friendly, the room big, clean and I love the view. Sometimes I like to visit the restaurant on the roof top just to see the mountain. What I love about this hotel is they give us surprise for the compliment! twice! The hotel that I will choose again when I return to malang

This hotel has changed its name into The 101 Hotel OJ Malang. The location is strategic. Foods served when breakfast are standard. The room is simple but cozy.

i've just check in on this hotel and they just welcoming me so warm and nice. the check in process was fast. for the food ,it was perfect served, especially on breakfast and skyroom cafe. they got friendly waiters and fast response waiters. Nice Hotel

Despite some obstacles during the booking, I like this hotel. Located in the heart of the city, make it easy to reach other destinations. What mostly I like is they successfully arrange hotel layout so the morning breeze freely flows and fill my lungs with fresh air. Love it, really love it.

I was there on 12 May 2017.
A rather nice view, the highest building at malang, so they said. The staffs were below average, some were nice, some were not so nice, they could have been just smile to me everytime, but they were look like some one has died.
The room was nice and clean, the setup was great. They should have printed their hotel name on their slippers, but they were like 'blank' slippers.
The food is average, nothing special. If you want to have a nice dinner with spectacular view, bring your jacket and go straight up stairs, the top floor. Beware, the air is cold and the wind blows strong!response / report this review -

Hotel is good location, the view from the sky cafe is great and you can chill until midnight. Hotel has not many parking space if you bring a car. Breakfast food is not good. Bedroom is nothing special.

I went on excursion to Batu, Malang. Due to peak season in January, I had booked three hotels. The first two nights I spent at Batu and the rest two nights at Malang. Among these three lodging places, the night I spent at Best Western was my best experience as it was ranked 4 star, best value for money expensed. One minor was the dirty pool water. However I might consider BW for upcoming vacation stay.

Very clean hotel with nice rooms. Lunch on the Sky View floor was poor. Took 1 hour and not very tasty. Breakfast has a wide range of Indonesian dishes but only brown and white bread.
