Beocean is simply amazing, from the staff, the super healthy tasty food, decoration and comfort. This was not what we are searching for but it came on our way. Although we are motorbikers, we had a very pleasant and relaxing 2 days. We learned a lot about surfing. The massage was very very good and the yoga class was also very relaxing. To stay was a lot above our budget because we travel already for 2 years low budget, but the price was worth the value and even more.

Everyone I speak to who has been coming to the Krui area for a few years agree that this is the spot for the best food and value for your money. Perfect spot for friends, family, or couples. Good waves to choose from out front and super comfy rooms, bathrooms(hot water), and common areas. Max and Alicia are very welcoming and accommodating hosts and their staff are genuinely happy to be working there. All around good vibes. I think this would be a great spot to hold yoga retreats too.

In all my years of travelling i must say that coming a cross Be Ocean has been one of the most refreshing experiences in a very long time. The moment you step through the door you can tell it’s a special place that has something very different. Be ocean is not just a surf retreat, but an experience of people who work from the heart! If i could give some extra stars i would give a huge one for Ali and her creative menus and the cooking!!! Not one meal repeated its self and one dish more creative and tasty then the other!
The other star i would give out to Max for his attention to detail and his effort to make everyone happy! Amazing guide and amazing photographer!!!!!! So no doubt at all i would go back to Be Ocean a million times.response / report this review -

Recently stayed at BeOcean and had to write a review!
This is probably the best place to stay in the whole island. Really peaceful, neat and plenty of space in both common areas and rooms.
There is a left hander slab as a backyard and chill out areas to watch the surf first line with a coffee or the variety of juices they offer.
The food was just amazing and served in perfect big portions to refuel you after long surf sessions.
The lovely staff will make you laugh and will take really good care on whatever you need.
We were afraid to not get many waves as we went only for a week but Max always knew the best spots depending on the swell direction and winds and made sure you got the most of your trip.
Well done Max and Alicia, no doubts we will repeat!

Beocean is simply amazing, from the staff, the super healthy tasty food, decoration and comfort, its perfect location close to all the surfspots they take care of every single detail! My wife and I travel a lot and I have to say BeOcean is a MUST.

This is probably the highlight of my stay in Sumatra. Even though we did not surf, Alicia and Max offered us plenty of entertainment facilities and most importantly the food was exquisite!

Our stay at BeOcean could not have been better. The place itself is beautiful and there is an amazing deck to look over the surf and watch the sun set. Max, Alycia and Husin are so attentive to your needs but above and beyond that they've created an amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like you're staying with friends rather than guests in a hotel. The food was amazing and also accommodated for those with dietary restrictions. We will definitely be returning!!

Un Resort de 5palmeras!!! El mejor de la zona.
La cocina y los menús increíbles. El confort de las habitaciones, la limpieza y el buen ambiente insuperables.
El personal una maravilla; súper amables. Husin, Dodi y Eco, y las chicas, Nofi, Linda, Dede y María gracias por unas vacaciones de ensueño.
Max y Ali, la dirección, tenéis un paraíso. Mil gracias..
