  What a beautiful, quiet, clean & relaxing place to stay. The panoramic views are amazing & the sunrises are unforgettable. Colin, Made & staff entertained, informed & spoilt us during our stay. We can't wait to get back again.

  We spent two nights here and throughly enjoyed it. Immaculately kept little place that has all you need. You are immediately made to feel part of the family by the very friendly hosts and staff. Great snorkelling right off the beach and they have a glass bottomed boat they can take you out on to dive on a wreck and other reefs. Good snorkelling up and down the coast either side of the resort too and other restaurants not far away. The sunrises over Lombok were fantastic.

  My wife and I happened upon Batu Belah (aka Sekar Karang) on a day trip driving tour of the Northeast Bali coast. Upon entering the property we were unabashedly awestruck. Five bungalows terraced into the hillside overlooking an infinity pool, flanked by a covered open air restaurant and breathtaking views of the ocean and rocky shoreline as pristine today as they were when they were created by volcanic eruptions thousands of years ago. The property exudes an unusual combination of serene ambiance in juxtaposition to its dramatically alive location which is also known for its corral reef snorkeling right out front. Every day we would awaken to the panoramic oceanfront view of the sun rising from behind the neighboring island's volcano and would fall asleep under the black starry skies to the lulling sounds of the ocean meeting the rocky shore below us.
  
  The owners, Colin, from England and Made' from Bali, along with their staff were gracious and attentive from the first to the last minutes of our stay. Daily housekeeping, bedding quality and English and Indonesian food service were provided at such high standards that we felt perpetually pampered, 24/7. We stayed 5 days, never left the place and would have stayed another 5 had we had the time.

  What a gem. We were driving along the coast road and saw the Bungalow sign so we decided to take a look. So glad we did. Fabulous location with beautiful clean & comfortable oceanfront rooms, restaurant bar and pool. Only wish we had more time to stay a while longer

  I have visited Batu Belah many times with my children. Colin and Made are friendly gracious hosts. We feel part of the family there. The setting is almost indescribable - paradise. The bungalows are cool and comfortable, the food fabulous and generous. There is so much to do there or you can just sit in the pool and stare at the horizon. It is the best of what Bali has to offer.
