Excellent, traditional batik vendor who have their own factory. Not cheap, but real value as in real batik with superb quality control and also interesting colours. My shirts from years back still looking great. Can custom make if given enough time.

They're all professionals here, so humble, not so cheap for the clothes, lots of foreigners here. Easy to find, overall a good place!

We did the class offered here for 50,000 and it was so fun! Honestly one of our favorite things we did in yogyakarta. You get to do or watch each step of the batik process, and can be super creative if you want, but it's also still fun for the less artistically inclined. After doing the process, it was fun to shop through their artwork and buy some of theirs! Really nice women working there, they knew some English too

For 50k you can spend time creating your own batik. You start by copying a drawing on your clothes with a pencil. Then you try to draw it with wax, what is really difficult imo. But the staff is really helpful and saved my batik. After that you can see how the drawing becomes a batik. Great experience

One stop venue to experience traditional Batik workshopping. Very well regarded Abd awarded numerous accolades for promoting Batik as an international art form and world heritage. They also do bespoke and custom designed or commissioned pieces.

We spent a great half day in a batik workshop. We were guided through the whole process and came away with an appreciation for the amount of work that goes into traditional batik and our own creations to take with us. There were only the two of us, perhaps because we were there off season and during Ramadan. The store itself is relatively expensive, but the quality is excellent.

Not only you can buy batik here but you can see the process and make your own batik as a souvenir to bring home. Quite an experience.

Great experience. They thaught me how to make a piece of batik, not easy so respect to the women who do this all day long! One of the best experiences in Yogya!

Great to see how the batik is being made, you can do it yourself and bring home a unique souvenir. Their English is not great though, so if you have a lot of questions it might be hard to get them answered, otherwise this place would be 5 stars.
