Very near from pekanbaru city, only take at least 15 minutes if there is no traffic. Clean and so many facilities such as a sleeping room at boarding room

Quite far for the central of the city , good service , friendly staffs , the immigration center is easy to pass and not too crowded , no bullsh*t long pathways , just a simple quick convenient airport.

Ssk 2. Near to the town. Also operated as military air base. New building and a masjid putside on progress. To park, there are lot for cars but unfortunately no shelter for motor cycle parking.
Departure area at the second floor. While arrivals may picked up at the lower floor.
At departing area, you can rest a while in a free rest area with comfy chair and charger elecrical outlet.
Theminus obviously came from lack of room for praying . Only one and use for maybe up to 5 people. One wudhu tap for ladies and one for gents.response / report this review -

Area utama airport tidak begitu besar, namun area parkirnya luas sehingga memudahkan untuk antar jemput. Pepohonan cukup banyak di area ini sehingga terasa sejuk. Area di dalamnya bersih dan rapi, termasuk toiletnya. Akses masuk memudahkan penumpang.

The airport is clean, toilet is well kept. Option of food and beverage outlets are ok. Location is just next to down town. It's a small airport yet it's an efficient one!

Overall the airport is excellent. The only problem is the airport is too close to the downtown. It might be good for travellers, but it's really disturbing for Pekanbaru citizens. And not to mention the airport current location is kind of dangerous, too much highrise buildings around the runway and of coures it'll endanger the planes. SSK II airport is a very busy airport and everytime planes landing and takeoff.

One of the newest updated Airport in Indonesia. The bathroom is clean, the facilities are up to date and comfortable. The workers are quick.
