  We eat at Ballads at least once very visit to Candidasa, Kadek and the team there always make us welcome, there is a lovely sea breezy over the lagoon even on the hottest day. The setting is lovely, well above the road with plenty of passing traffic to watch. Beautiful chair coverings, linen table set up with real orchids on every table.
  The welcome drink is so refreshing, the menu is extensive mainly Indo food with lots of fresh seafood, and delicious. Well worth a visit.

  The place itself is OK, not very clean napkins and table cloth. The food though was pretty nice, we had Indian chicken masala. And the ginger lemon drink was amazing!

  If your driver drops you in front of this restaurant, try another one if you do not want to pay very expensive drinks. Rather nice view, but noisy because of the very busy road in front of this place.

  This restaurant has a most beautiful view of the gorgeous lily-filled lagoon at Candidasa and is a wonderful place from which to watch the sun setting after another wonderful day in Bali
  I've been visiting the restaurant for 17 years and have always been very pleased by both the food and the service. All the food is cooked to a high standard and the preparation is safe and fast.
  The staff are super friendly and Ibu Kadek Dek Ter is a kind and compassionate host. The welcome to the restaurant is superb, like returning home each and every time.
  Menu prices are lower than other comparable restaurants in Candidasa, with main courses at around US$4 or less. The restaurant offers a great range of balinese food as well as European favourites and there are specials which change daily. A great place for families as well as for couples and solo travellers

  Grilled fish in banana leaf has a good taste, but small. The chicken was quite boring.

  Way to expensive for very small portion and average to poor quality food. The staff also wasn't welcoming, they even seemed annoyed by our presence. Never again.

  Too expensive for not very good service...we've received weird looks from staff all the time...not a kind of restaurant I would go twice
