Beautiful sunrise that calms heart."
It was fun to catch for sunrise! Have to leave city from 3AM, drove to Borobudur, climbed, waited for sunrise.. It was peaceful and stunning. There is something magical about the ambience.response / report this review -

If you happen to be in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, you have to go there for sunrise. Personally, it's worth to visit. Heading to Borobudur temple from Yogyakarta at 4 AM (yes, very early morning) for 1,5 hour, and arrive there at 5.30. It was dry season, so the sunrise shining so brightly, clearly, arose between Mt Merapi and Mt Merbabu. This biggest Buddhist temple in the universe is surrounding by villages and green view, with misty, foggy morning. It was so quite, very peaceful, and amazing to see the sunrise between the mysterious stupas. So emotional. It was one of best sunrise I've ever had. The ticket is very costly (450k for foreigner and 325k for local), but I think it's worth. In the end of the tour, you can enjoy coffee, tea, and local snack/ dessert like fried banana. For once a lifetime experience !
