One of the best desserts I've ever had in a fine dining restaurant.
It was a wonderful evening with my besties. I already in love with the place when we entered the bar area, it was beautifully decorated in Ubud old glamour style complimented with a very friendly welcome from the staff. We were served a welcome cocktail with a set of tasty snacks at the bar before we entered the dining area, they all come in a beautiful presentation. Once we seated in the dining area, we were welcomed with our first Par Mandif experience: "handwashing ritual" where the staff poured rose-infused water for us to wash our hand into a basin, it was fabulous!
The delicious set dinner not only comes with a really beautiful presentation but also with a personal explanation from the staff. I was really impressed with how they managed to magically create a very authentic Indonesian dish with a contemporary approach. It is not easy to pick one favorite dish among the set, but the Chawanmushi and the crab salad was really memorable. As if the set was not enough to make our mouths happy, they wowed us with the dessert set, and again, we were really impressed with how authentic they are despite the creative contemporary presentation they make. We can really understand how each dish was made with extra attention to detail, such a wonderful experience!
From the first we entered the bar we know that this would be our special night. The ambience and the interior it's just perfect to start the dinner with best friends. The welcome drink and snacks they served in beautiful presentations and delicious. We started the dinner with "kobokan" ritual it's Indonesian tradition to washing hand before eating, but they presented in very beautiful way. Surprisingly even the food presented in very Western and fine dining way but I still could tasted the original Indonesian food that I'm familiar with. From the first meals until the last we got the good surprised from the taste and the presentation. It's just perfect for my special night with my best friends. Definitely will come back with my loved one.
Best Dining Experience!
Its the best way possible to spoil your taste buds, the setting is beautiful, and the service was super. We had chef degustation 7-course menu and two pots of tea from their extensive list of the tea menu and guaranteed you will not disappointed with any of it.
Every dish was like being on a master chef, creative, unique, brilliantly presented and explained. My favorite one was their aged smoked duck, where the lengthy process really complements the taste. Thank you Par Mandif for the wonderful evening!!
Looking for the best fine dining in Bali? BLANCO par Mandif is definitely where you must go.
Once you get in the beautifully carved wooden door, you will be in the Ruang Tamu Bar. Amazed by the interior, they serve the welcome drink continued by their signature snacks before you move to the restaurant.
Friendly service personnel - ready to serve you in the restaurant. Sitting by the window where we can observe the beauty of Ubud especially the Tjampuhan area was mesmerizing - really.
The hand washing ceremony remarked our fine dining experience. Sweet sour wrapped in delicate skin - Rujak was standout. Then, the chef's complimentary, Amuse Bouche - soupy smooth and rich followed by main courses and dessert, not only that the dishes taste good, the plating are also pretty.
It was truly an amazing fine dining experience - they have successfully brought the authentic Indonesian dishes to the Michelin level.
I used to come here two years ago and was impressed to the food and it’s charm. That’s why I am back here for the second time. However, i prefer the previous ambiance where you can see chefs preparing the food in front of you. This new ambiance doesn’t make you feel different from any fine dining you can find in other countries. Having said that, the food is still good with excellent service. Still recommend to come but I hope chef table style will be back for their renovation so I can come back and visit again
Excellent service, amazing attention to detail and fantastic food. What more could you ask for?
Blanco par mandiff is one of the best degustation restaurant in Bali and probably throughout Indonesia as well. The fact that they serve modern Indonesian cuisine set them apart from other places. Im amazed by how they craft and present tasteful indonesian foods into such a fine art. It is beyond my expectations, so kudos to the chefs and team who definetly gave their best to create masterpieces.
The restaurant itself has a beautiful view to a river and tropical forest. Located near to ubud center it easy to reach and a perfect escape for a private/romantic dining. All i can say is values that you will get in here are worth the money, so if you are looking for some idonesian fine dining experience, this restaurant is your best bet.
Mediocre food for the price. Airconditioning was broken so was very uncomfortable. Service was amazing and staff were great but the reviews are misguiding. Food was below par for $100. 2 and a half hours to have 9 courses.
Absolutely and unequivocally exquisite. The food, the service, and the drinks - each in their own respect - deserving of a Michelin star. Over the top beautiful in every respect! Rubs shoulders with some of the best restaurants in the world.
Simply the best dining experience I had in Bali. The food was excellent. The service attentive. A must-go every time I am in Bali from now on.
A beautiful fine-dinning restaurant placed inside a cave on the edge of the hill with a soaring view of the river and rainforest below.
Warm atmosphere interior well blended with the surrounding nature.
The food was really in a state of mind-blowing level, IN A GOOD WAY! Indonesian cuisine well presented and plated that shows how dedicated and passionate the Chef is to his dishes. My favourites were the first two apperitifs they served on the menu and the dessert. It was Stringbean with Sambal Roa and Bengkoang Pickle with Singaraja Vinegar if I'm not mistaken. For the dessert Two THUMBS UP for the Gethuk dessert, they did a really good job to match the gethuk with a lemon sorbet and a red bean "espuma" (kinda like foamy-foam).
Stunning dishes!! Each dishes complete each others, like a continuous story. The complimentary cocktail is also astonishing. I'm not a cocktail guy, but hell yeahh it was awesome!!
If I love something - I love it on the level where atoms make love to electrons. 'BLΔNCO par Mandif' is the place where atoms make love to electrons. You can feel it from the first step in with your body, then reach it with the eye and finally taste it on the end of your tongue.
From the first second and until the last ‘Have Good Times, Sir’ the personnel of ‘BLΔNCO per Mandif’ makes you feel like everything. And I mean it. Time exists no more. Just a pure flow of joy served with luxuriously chilled vibrations. And on dessert you always can expect a beautiful smile of waitress.
Service - well, it was perfect. Every new dish is supported by a small digresión (es.) in the history of culinary. Each new serving is a pure masterpiece. ‘Life is like a box of chocolates - U never know what you gonna get’ as Forrest Gump’s mother used to say.
While experiencing one of the best moments of your life, you begin to understand why art of Don Antonio Blanco and his heritage became essential in Bali. Because he not just loved beauty of things, he lived each and every beauty of the moment. And with every new bite, with every new dish you are revealing this truth. It is a secret no more.
My favourite choices:
Aperitif ‘Tofu Ball with Aïoli’ - unexpected power of taste;
Main ‘Barbecued Lamb Rack’ - mysterious, deep, mild, soft;
Main ‘Mie Cakalang’ - one the chef’s favourite;
U Deserve a Dessert ’Strawberry Sorbet’ - like a kiss of girl’s sweetest lips;
Win with Wine ‘Bellagio NV’ - definitely one of my favourite Italian wines. Soft & Smooth, Fruity your Beauty.
In summary of all said:
Pure magical experience. Delightful and Delicate.

Instagramable place
We only paid 30k and we can take a picture with parrot, see the painting and the garden is so nice
Humble staff.. they always smile and helpfully
The place and service were great.
Some plates were fantastic, some were "nah". I would said most of them didn't bring me any special flavor that I was expecting from the reviews, so it wasn't a superb experience.
Although this might be the fanciest restaurant in Ubud, I did like other places more than this one (and way more cheaper).
Wine isn't listed in their webpage BTW, they start from 1 million rupiahs.
Over priced, totally not worth it. Bad ambience, too bright, no view with flies and mosquitos. Entrance is strange, very narrow. No bar that can show where their cocktail was made. Wine pairing from Argentina and Chilie, rib off deal. Food was fair, not worth my 3 hours time to spend the night with. Main course, Waygu beef, tough and bad texture. 100% disappointment, esp we were coming from the city especially for the dinner
What a delicious and modern take on Indonesian food. A young team doing some really exciting things with food from their own region. Dried and powdered wild mushrooms. The smokey sambal. Fruits and herbs with wild exotic Balinese flavours. Yum. Extra special.
A truly unique experience. Where you can enjoy your food with a cozy and romantic ambience while looking at the chefs preparing your next courses.
This was the best food I've ever eaten! The Indonesian inspired flavours were absolutley devine!! You will be blown away. A must try for a lovely relaxed night out. Price was also very reasonable for the quality and amount of food served and service spot on! Well done guys!
Amazing foods with a local flavour - the staff take turns to introduce each plate. Each dish is beautifully presented and the whole experience was memorable
Creative, fun but not really full from a 13-course. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Amazing Indonesian food in degustation form. Beautifully presented with friendly staff. Make a reservation and make sure you're hungry!
Amazingly refined food - really good. The only downside to this place is that they have shifts, ( 18.00 to 20.30 or 9 to 11.30) we felt a little rushed having to eat a 9 course dinner within 2.5 hours.
Best Fine Dining Indonesian Cuisine. Absolutely Tasty
Great place to experience fine-dining in Ubud, Bali.
When Ur food comes in 13 courses, seats only 8 for the entire night, and some of it comes in a Metal mesh ball or in a pickling Jar; well something good is happening for the dining experience. :)
