Great place for a date. Be very careful if you have a snake phobia though. I did not expect one to be in an aquarium.

The aquarium is not so big, but it is good enough to learn more about sea life. Bring your kids here. They will definitely like this place. What I don't like here is only the price for the printed photo. It is too expensive :(

Jakarta's latest salt water and fresh water aquarium attraction. Located at Neo Soho, neighbouring the popular Central Park Mall at West Jakarta, the attraction offers collection to rival the more established aquarium at Sea World, North Jakarta. Entrance fee might be lower depends on bank card promotions.

We didn't have high expectation for this place at first, but turned out having fun and great experience. As already mentioned by other reviews, it is quite expensive especially on weekend. But there are actually some promotions worth checking on the internet. They have touch pool and provide diving and aquatrekking experience. They also have 5D theatre that you can visit by purchasing premium tickets. While for penguin show, unfortunately they can only be watched through Pingoo restaurant.

Great place to see marine life. Not as big as SEA, but clean, well organized, inside the mall. A 5D attraction is good, one key advantage. The show and theater also good, nice cinematic, costumes and fine sound arrangements. But why the story told in English? Many visitors came from locals, right?

It's an OK place. Kids love it. There is a 3D ride at the end, although at a higher 'premium' price. Entry tickets are overpriced even more so on weekends. Some displays are video displays. Some corrals are dying. I would recommend Sea World (or whatever it is now called) in Ancol.

Clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The staffs are all friendly and kind. Though the collection are still lacking, but still enjoyable.
It has restroom and small cafe inside, so it's another plus.
But I'm not too satisfied by the 5D theatre. It's so-so experience, even though it's just 5 of us inside, but still not that enjoyable. Will be boring for some people perhaps.
Hoping that they will add more collections soon though.

Despite the quite expensive entrance fees & some aquarium information display touch-screen monitors which don't work well, this place is pretty amazing. The interior ambience is just right, the staffs are friendly & very capable when providing the information details regarding the animals & fish in the aquarium. The Touch Pool is lovely, you can touch variable sea creatures there such as star fishes, crabs, small sharks & mantas, plus informative staffs. The Pearl of the South Sea Mermaid Show is great. The 5D Explorer studio is also a must-try. Oh, and there are some awesome giant groupers too.

Highly recommended place for a short getaway! You will see a lot of sea animals and drama performance with special effect. Even though the place is not as big as Seaworld, you can still enjoy a lot of things here. The technology and the design of the place will make you amazed.

Good aquarium of a decent size (much bigger than Sea World if I'm not mistaken), but not worth the weekend price. We spent 1.5-2hrs there. I loved the interior design, with the school of fish hanging by the ceiling and all the decoration. But the section near the exit with the giant dragon statue was really useless. They should put something else there because it's such a big space.

Furthermore, basically ALL the interactive screens were glitching. I was very annoyed because I actually wanted to read about the animals. A few of the screens that Were working didn't seem to display the right information for the corresponding tank.

Also I'm personally bothered by how visitors can only see the penguin tank from the side (only Pingoo restaurant customers can see the full tank from the front). We paid for our ticket and deserve to see them even if we don't want to eat at Pingoo.

I want to suggest to the staff at the aquarium NOT to print out the photos taken at the entrance. Have a computer screen showing the photos and Then print them if customers want to purchase them. Otherwise it's such a huge waste of paper.

Overall there is much to improve but I still enjoyed myself.

Quite surprised about this place. Many variety of sea animals, good for kids to learn more about water animals. Place is comfy, bit dark, and neat.

What a cool experience. Came here with our baby boy, he was so excited to meet lot of big fishes. Then, we enjoyed our lunch at Pingoo Restaurant with a group of pinguins.

Well it was nice overall but it lacks aquariums and variety, and I was very disappointed with the main aquarium which is pretty empty even though it can even fit a Mobula ray or an ocean sunfish, and the touch pool is plain having only starfish,Sea cucumbers and stingrays coming soon but it's only that. Also there is to many Holographic fake aquariums which can be very useful for making more aquariums containing more special fish such as The Centropyge Boylei and the Platax pinnatus. This place also lacks care after I saw 2 dead garden eels and more than 6 dead knive fish which is horrible to see.And not only that, this place is heck expensive almost as expensive or more than the Osaka Kaiyukan Aquarium which contains loads of cool creatures like the whale shark,Ocean sunfish,Manta ray,Mobula rays,Sea Angels,Giant isopods And more.

Small but nicely done up new aquarium, I liked the ambiance inside, variety of fish is not the best
Price 175k per person, if you have time to kill and really love fish should try, it's in the lower level of a Neo-soho mall.

Beautiful marine creatures, place is well designed with effective display and lots of interactive elements. I find the use of multiple digital screens as clever way to utilize empty space while still immersing you in marine ambience. Our daughter loved it.

Not cheap, but was well worth the price. Particularly because we pick weekday to visit - with relatively quiet crowds. I strongly suggest you do the same to maximize the visit.

A great place to visit within the Jakarta City. The Aquarium is pretty big for an inside mall aquarium. Plenty of Variety of Marine Life and also a great show. Love this place.

Great collection of creatures. Good interior design and setups. But there were just too many people for holiday. The 5D theatre are only capable for 20 people so there were this huge line so i didnt get the chance to get inside. The price is a bit too pricey.

Good location but there's not many to show yet (because it's just recently been opened, I went around D+2). The decorations are cute though. Might come back for a second time after it's fully ready.

Hari ini merupakan hari terakhir Preview Jakarta Aquarium. Ikan belum banyak, pembangunan aquarium masih berlangsung sampai Feb-Maret 2017. Menurut saya, Jakarta Aquarium akan menjadi tempat yg menarik untuk anak-anak belajar tentang biota ikan air tawar dan ikan air asin.
