Crowded on weekends. Many attractions to play with. Typical Alun Alun in every city: surrounded by many important government offices.

I like the pineapple statue in this town square. It looks like Spongebob's pineapple house in the Bikini Bottom. I like Spongebob Squarepants because his colour is Yellow.

You can take a rest, eat here. Many travellers who travel to Central Java usually take a stop here. You can also enjoy local food such as Nasi Goreng, Sate Ayam, Bakso (Meat Ball Soup), and many more while resting. For moslem there is mosque nearby Alun-alun are for you to pray.

Just a quick visit for resting and dawn pray at the mosque, we had a really good breakfast, there are nasi uduk, bubur ayam, lontong sayur and a few other, I can't really tell.

This is the center of pemalang. You can find many foods, a traditional snacks, and buy some durian. You can also go take a ride with bicycle, pedicap, horse carriage, and "becak lampu" in the night. Sometimes the government make a carnaval to celebrate pemalang's birthday, or commemorate important days. Enjoy to stay longer here.
