Alun - alun is a general park provided by PT Freeport Indonesia for the community at Kuala kencana town to do some out door activities. mostly used as town photo landmark. opens 24/7 for public.

Alun-alun is a Javanese architectural term for the large central open lawn squares common to villages, towns and cities in Indonesia.
Strict rules govern the location of buildings surrounding the alun-alun lor. The main mosque must be cited on the west side. The official residence was situated on the North or South. East is generally reserved for shops, markets, or houses of prominent families.
