  Alun-alun ITHO, dibangun di Pusat Perkantoran Kab. Kutai Barat, pada masa Pemerintahan Bupati Ismael Thomas, dan sampai saat ini pekerjaan masih dilanjutkan pada masa pemerintahan Kepala Daerah yang baru FX Yapan. Pekerjaan konstruksi yang masih berjalan samapi saat ini (Des 2016) adalah pembanguan Pintu Gerbang Utama, bertuliskan " Alun-alun ITHO" . Disini ramai dikunjungi Kawula muda-mudi khususnya pada sore hari menjelang senja, yang sengaja datang hanya sekedar bersantai atau bercengkerama bersama sahabat karibnya, sambil menikmati jajanan disepanjang pinggiran jalan di Komplek Perkantoran. Tetapi banyak juga Pasanagn Keluarga Bahagia yg sengaja datang meski sekedar menemani putra -putri mereka bermain-main di areal alun-alun ITHO yg sangat luas. Kehadiran Aln-alun ITHO dapat dimanfaatkan oleh warga Kutai Barat sebagai arena berolah raga. 💛DEC 2016

  Tempatnya asik..apalgi jika sore hari menjadi tempat untuk anak muda,orang tua dan membawa keluarganya ke tempat ini walau hanya sekedar bersantai bahkan berolahraga. Alun alun itho dekat dengan area perkantoran bupati kutai barat
