Nice view but if u dont have good stamina better go half way or just go down a bit so u can take a closer pict with the waterfall.
While trekking the stairs to the base of the waterfall their a point where you have view Sipiso Piso Waterfall on one side and Lake Toba peeking on the other side. Its a stunning vista
Awesome scenary. Recommended to go down below if you like traking n wanna experience bathing under the heavy fall of water. It needs like an hour slow walk to reach below but the road is not that good. There is one spot where the trek is really horrible and can endanger your life. So be careful. Around 15 min from the top, a hut is provided for a short rest or quick eat. After you reach the down another hut is there with some paid snacks and drinks.
Very nice scenery, also has a good view of Lake Toba near the parking area. Entrance is IDR4.000 per person. Takes roughly half an hour each way.
Plenty of small stalls along the way to stop at if you're tired, prices are not cheap though.
This waterfall is really beautiful. from the top you can already see the waterfall. I do not recommend you to go down because there are too many stairs you have to go through, but if you want to feel the fresh water and see something spectacular then you have try it. On the other side of the hill you can also see lake toba from a distance
Best waterfall. there is a steady stream of rivers with rocks. to reach the bottom of the waterfall, we have to descend the stairs. maybe 1000 stairs. You will not regret it because it will get a beautiful view. You can enjoy the river. The air is so fresh. It will take about 15 minutes to get the bottom of the waterfall. Beside that, we can enjoy the toba lake view, green forest and the view along the path to waterfall. There are souvenir shops, culinary. They give rassional price. But you can still bargain to be cheaper.
Water seemed to be gushing out from the rock instead of flowing off it. Uniquely beautiful! Mosquitoes were vicious though ;)
Awesome place! It's a must see, if you're near lake toba.
Breathtaking view. If you hike all the way down, you can hear the roar of the waterfall getting louder as you descend. The path is easy to navigate and there are pit stops for drinks and picture taking along the way.
Beautiful place yet minim facilities. It takes hundreds stair step to reach the waterfall. You can enjoy the view from a far side, like i did.
Pros: beautiful waterfall & you get to exercise when you ascend from below.
Cons: areas surroundg waterfall is dirty, many throw litter & this REALLY spoils the entire image & ambiance of d place. I heard a rat move in rhe crevices as i descended to d base.
What an amazing waterfall! From the top, it offers beautiful view to the Toba lake. Climbing down was quite an experience. Sadly, many trash found along the way down.
One of the spectacular waterfalls I’ve ever seen in my life. In order to reach the waterfall, we have to climb down more than 600 stairs (correct me if I’m wrong) just to reach the waterfall. Climbing down was easy but you have to be extra careful on the cracked and steep stairs. The problem was at that time we were not sure whether we had stamina to climb up back. 2 of my friends agreed that we’re going to do about 150 stairs only which is a quarter of the journey. You can still see the view of Sipisopiso Waterfall from above actually but we wanted to see a close up just a little bit. It was worth it.
Recommended place, soooo beautiful waterfall First time I visited this waterfall, it's amazing but need time to go down there. Very tired but happy to taste the water. Fresh n cool Love it
Good short hike to the waterfall with refreshing waterfall splash the only issue here is there was trash everywhere on the trail. I see Indo just threw away all plastic and anything on the floor, sad to see people don't fully keep their country clean.
The view is breathtaking!
It's one of the highest waterfalls in Indonesia, surely worth a visit.
Good place, nice view to see toba lake and but so far to down and up stairs to reach sipiso-piso waterfall..
Beautiful scenery from above. Breath taking waterfall with an occasional rainbow😍
With over 1000 stairs, this waterfall is so cool. We can see the rainbow from the result of water
Beautiful waterfall, you can also go downstairs to taste the water. You can also see Toba Lake from here.
Nice waterfall, good ambience to relax. Gives you a joyful ambience.
This was our first stop from Medan airport. Bus took us to the visitor center. we walked the 700+ steps down to the bottom of the falls and took the spray and ended up wet, which was fun. The visitor center also provides a great view of part of Toba lake and Samosir island.
Turun ke bawah, rasakan dingin nya :-)
#SipisoPiso : The fall of water is as sharp as a knife
One of many objects that make Lake Toba more beautiful, more stunning and more unforgettable.
Awesome natural site - yet the surrounding lookout is a busy tourist trap, dirty and very crowded during holiday season.
beautiful view, waterfall so great
Very nice view, the perfect time to visit it is in the morning, at that time you could see sunrise coming from lake toba and the beautiful view of the waterfall.
Beautiful place
