This is the local market for the area. If you want to cook with fresh local ingredients that this place is a must. The prices are good, local prices, which means you can save a lot if you need to shop for your stay. There is bemo services here all day while the market is open (drivers who drive back and forth) from senggigi for 5000 idr per person each way. If you perfer to take your own scooter then Parking is an easy 2000 idr. There is an abundance if fresh food to include meat (fish, chicken, beef) you will not find pork, as lombok is mostly Muslim. An assortment of veggies and fruit as well as local tobacco or fishing supplies. One of the best local markets in the area. The market is mostly split between a wet and dry market. Most fish is in the back, veggies are throughout the middle and front and fruit us outside as well as on the second floor. Everyone has calculators to show you the price if you do not speak Bahasa Indonesian.
