Dr tohap literally insult u and charge u money for checking
And when u try ask for explanation, he doesn't explained but insult u instead
He said why don't u go study instead asking
Great way to insult customer
And also charge money for u money said for card
Without even explaining first why paid the card in fact haven't treat u yet
If u don't believe my review
Try it u will see
As for other doctors inside is nice and polite also patience toward customer
Only problem is him

dr tohap is a money thirst dentist. He's rough and impatient during the scaling and braces treatment he accidentally grazed my gum and inner mouth and causing it to bleed but never apologized or anything. FINE. The worst experience is getting braces during covid period. He's very unhygenic for using reusable cups and towel. I had to bring my own disposable cup every time. (tbh even if it's not during pandemic, should've been using disposable ones).
During every braces treatment, he always make me sit on the dental chair immediately without going thru what procedure will be done unless prompted when I find him questionable. And every time he explains he spoke sounding very irritated. He once stealthily increase the treatment fee then reduce back after I called him out.
The worst is he asked for extra fee that cost almost 40% of the lump sum I paid upfront for the whole treatment, FOR A PAIR OF RETAINER. Then when I argue that my sister did not have to pay for the retainer(well 10yrs ago), he simply say that is then this is now. I bet he trying to squeeze all the money that he could out of me.
When I got home I researched and I feel so cheated because the retainer fee should have been included in the original treatment lump sum. He definitely explained that I had to pay separate treatment fee triweekly which I accepted but he definitely did not explain the retainer fee ON PURPOSE. It's obvious by how he only ask for money right before removal. He tried to manipulate me to give in by giving longest speech about how the teeth will definitely shift post braces removal without retainer. He gaslight me to push blame that I didnt want extract teeth at the beginning then he 'try' to straighten but turns out it was ugly as freak worse than before I did braces, wasted 6mths of treatment. What a scam.
Worst regret ever. Won't come back ever again.
p.s: one star for his wife (and the rest of the dentist who Idk) who is a better dentist. Did scaling w her once before braces, she noticed my gum receeding issue and so kindly reminds me of the correct way to brush my teeth. WHICH OBVIOUSLY dr tohap never did all those years scaling my teeth.response / report this review -
