Such a gem and represents Budapest so well. My wife and I had just traveled through London and Paris before arriving in Budapest. We did not know what to expect and the cuisine at this restaurant just like this city has far exceeded our expectations and won our hearts forever! This restaurant was by far the best we had so far during our trip through Europe.
Coming from the Los Angeles area, there are so many amazing Italian restaurants to chose from and the wife and I have tried many of them and they are wonderful indeed. That being said, this place could top them all. We found this restaurant was reviewed favorably and decided to have it for dinner during our first night in Budapest. It was so good, that we had to go back the next night. Each time we were there we chose different dishes and each dish was delicious. If I had more time or lived in Budapest, this would be my go to restaurant. Also, the price for the food compared to the restaurant of the same quality in Los Angeles is a fraction of the price. If you were to spend $200 for a meal in L.A., you could get the same for less than $100.response / report this review -

Our best evening meal experience during 4 day visit. Definitely need to book, preferably at least two days prior to get a table as it is one of the most popular restaurants in town. Food ranges from low priced freshly made pizzas and pastas to excellently presented meat and fish dishes. Great atmosphere and service. Photos are of their tenderloin of pork main course and grilled vegetable side dish.

The food was great, but we had to wait for a very very long
time, more than half an hour in between the courses. The
staff was very accommodating though. Stylish decor high
class toilets (for a change) and great acoustics inside
with cozy live piano and violin music. Prices in the higher
end but still cheap as a tourist. Would recommend.response / report this review -

I went on a Tuesday afternoon 17:00 for lunch. The place was completely empty except 1 table. I asked for a table of 2 and after the staff looked to each other like they were debating how much money we are gonna pay, one of them said sorry we are fully booked for 17:30. I couldn't believe it. We just wanted to have something fast and leave max 45'. It ruined the reputation that place had for me

The posh place you're not all so sure about You can be; it's authentic, overly deliscious, with great service, huge variety of drinks, and, yes, great food. Follow the footsteps of celebrities and surprise yourself with a great Italian lunch/dinner!

The most famous and most popular Italian in Budapest operated by Italians. Not a gourmet place but good food good service and good wine. Very reliable for a long time.

It is hard to find really great foreign food in Budapest. This restaurant has delicious food. As well as great food, the staff was very kind and courteous. The food did take awhile to come out, however, it was worth the wait. There is also a good wine list which is important.

Really nice and elegant Italian restaurant in the heart of Budapest. All the dishes we tried was amazing, the reason I'm giving 4 stars is because we had to way too much for all the dishes, although there were not many people at the restaurant, and one of the waiters (a younger guy) was quite rude with us (He thought he waa being funny but he wasn't.) All in all, if you would like to try a good Italian restaurant, this is the place to be :)

Cannot get more Italian than this! Situation in the center of Budapest an up and coming area, this restaurant boasts of an impressive menu with a huge selection of mouthwatering dishes from the land synonymous with amazing food and wines. The staff are extremely professional and there is no doubt that they are fully trained and career oriented in the service industry. The place has a bustling atmosphere of good vibes for family and friends to gather and indulge. Arrivederci! As they would say in the Bella Italia!

Meh. Totally underwhelming -- had higher expectations. Too much hype, no delivery. Sad servings, undressed salad, unattractive presentation, weak drinks and even worse -- an ambivalent staff after complaining to them. Keep in mind this is a pricey place in which you should have high standards. Positive notes; nice ambiance and location. My first, only, and last time there.

Absolutely the best Italian food in town, no doubt. Huge space, lots of tourists, too, but still it is very cozy and staff is extra nice. One of my favourite restaurants in town.
