A green, serene place with a magnificent lake and charming views. The route to the lake from Tovaroskert station passes along neat and petite homes. There are many restaurants on the shores of the lake, where one can relax with a Hungarian draught beer and an exquisite chicken dish. Only 70 kms. from the capital, Tovaroskert proves to be a very pleasant day's getaway from Budapest.

A múlt század elejéig kedvelt megállója volt a közeli lóversenypályára igyevőknek. A jelenlegi épület felújításra vár. Személyvonatok megállóhelye.
