  Place nice, food good but I haven't seen such an unfriendly almost rude service for a long time. If you don't speak Hungarian or if you have kids, go somewhere else.

  A halászlében két féle hal volt: egy nagyon romlott, de puha, illetve egy kicsit romlott, de kőkemény. A kenyér olyan száraz, hogy ölni lehetne vele, a kiszolgálás pedig a magyar vendéglátás legkeményebb korszakát idézi. Ehhez képest pedig tök drága. Senkinek sem ajánlom, maximum Kövér Lászlónak.

  It's a smallish restaurant with fast & professional service. I found the catfish dish to be very tasty.

  At first sight maybe it doesn't seem a good quality restaurant, but trust me (or history as this is the oldest restaurant in the town: it has been operating since the early 1800) you can have the best fish soup and crackling scones here. I regularly get in just to buy some crackling scones to take away. It's simply heavenly.
  So in a few words: tasty traditional Hungarian cuisine and fish dishes, friendly service, average prices and great location.

  Nice place with a huge variety of fish dishes and lots of other Hungarian dishes. Lovely service too.
