There are three good things about the hotel: the staff gave us the print material about the city as a good orientation about the hotel and the city. It was a clean hotel and breakfast was a great deal.
I find a couple of things that are not well organised: unhappy stuff and prices are not visible. On the website it says that there has a parking space but it doesn't write that you have to pay for it. We did know that we must pay the parking, they did not inform us, there was no information about it and in the end they charge us half of the price of accommodation. We were very disappointed with this act.response / report this review -

Bathrooms are in dire need of renovation. Even if they wouldn't, their size is another story - the only way you can get into shower cabin is if you breathe in and go sideways. Food is acceptable but nothing to brag about. Staff is quite friendly and speaks decent English.

Room is pretty small and it's like living in an oven! The bathroom has an old style heater that feels like it's constantly on, it's steaming hot inside and the air conditioning wasn't working when we were there but management didn't do anything after complaining. Opening the windows to let cooler air inside the room makes it even worst because across the street is a bar and people are yelling and talking really loud until around 3 in the morning! Then the loud talking starts again around 5 AM. We had to use our airplane earplugs to sleep while the windows are open! Very disappointed. Not coming back at all! I think the only thing positive in this hotel as far as I'm concern is their breakfast, at least it is decent for what I paid for. It's unfortunate because the location is right in the middle of everthing.

I enjoyed my stay in Prague at the Best Western Meteor Plaza. Lots of choice for lunch, helpful staff. And especially located near the city center. We walked around on foot for all our activities, except of course the city tour we enjoyed. I strongly suggest this hotel well maintained and very affordable.

Unfriendly staff, very old and soiled furniture being placed. Haphazardly arranged furniture limits the mobility within the room. Work desk is placed at the entrance of the room, leaving just 1 ft entrance to rest of the room. There is no power outlet near workdesk, coffee machine also placed on the desk no power outlet for it. These are just a few of the problems I faced, there are many. I definitely do not recommend this hotel unless it's renovated.

After having stayed at the Leonardo hotel in Berlin the hotel in Budapest was a bit shabby and not at the same level. However the service and reception of staff was very good and the breakfast extremely good value

Hotel is nice looking from the outside. Located in a good looking neighbourhood considering how the rest of residential places in Budapest look like due to the somehow recent release from the communism. Leonardo hotel inside is quite disappointing. Standard rooms are quite small, with bad choice of furniture (to big) and organization. Moreover, rooms are not as clean as they should be for a 4-star hotel, I found plenty of fluff and hairs under the night tables (which I had to move in other to have access to the electric plugs). Bathrooms are packed with not so ergonomical disposition of the shower, the toilet and the sink. There are no amenities, and the minibar has to be stocked by yourself. Only thing I liked were the pillows. Oh! And some bedrooms (like mine) are connected to the next door one through a door inside the room. Our neighbours were a couple(?) of noisy Japanese that made the stay pretty annoying, since the door was as good as a thing layer of paper between the rooms. Too many stars for such a faulty hotel.

Stayed for a few days. Room was a bit small but perfectly functional. Did have air con so we were very happy about that. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Had a wide choice of cooked food and pastry's with cereal too. In regards to transport then it is a 10-15 minute walk to the big bus tour stop number 8 on the red route and there is a metro station next to that stop too. So don't bring too much luggage unless you can carry it for 15 mins! Hope this helped!

It's fine with those who like green surrounding and located within the city. Cons : This morning during buffet breakfast the first 2 in a pile of plates had dirt sticking in them. Worse there was a bug floating in my orange juice. A server was obviously displeased when she saw me photographing them. She snatched them away. Additionally, a tiny cubicle serves as bathroom: no door such that water splashes out even how much you try to be careful

Very good service and very well situated, Leonardo Budapest hotel is definitely worth considering when visiting Budapest. The staff is polite and very helpful.

Terrible hotel with worse refund policies i had planned to stay there for 5 nights and ended up getting very sick and canceling my trip from Denver as well as hotel cancelled from the airport 30 hrs before I was set to arrive and the hotel is keeping all the funds saying they don't refund as well as want to charge me extra for canceling do not care that I was ill they are a bunch of thieves taking advantage of tourists stay away .!!! I also had another friend go and was treated poorly rooms where. Filthy and would not allow him to change rooms or refund as well

Nice cozy place for a night s stay.
Will get good deals if booked through travel websites than directly.
Around 700 metres walk from the nearest metro station.
Wifi works as promised.
