My favorite place where the atmosphere is always good! Their frozen strawberry margarita cocktail is the BEST! Table reservation is recommended esp friday and saturday evenings.

We always seem to find the Mexican restaurant in any city we're in! We have eaten here a couple times and it's been good both times. Fajitas (spicy chicken and carne asada) we're both good, though the chicken wasn't really anywhere close to being spicy. Cubano was good for a cuban sandwich in a Mexican restaurant and my husband's Enchiladas Especial we're ok (frankly they could have used a bit more cheesebut couldn't everything really?) Queso was passable (similar to ballpark nacho cheese) but the salsas we're actually really good! And that comes from a native Texan who judges her Mexican restaurants on the caliber of their salsa.
FYI they have the menu in English and both waitresses we had a very good grasp of the language so ordering was a non-issue!response / report this review -

Really good authentic Mexican food in Budapest. Great service. Everyone speaks English very well. I would deffinetly recommend this place.

Very nice Mexican restaurant. Food was authentic and tasty. The frozen margaritas were not watered down like most places, you can actually taste the tequila.

This is an amazing place with professional serving. You will get everything what you need in a mexican restaurant. Their tortilla is just truly delicious.

Coffee is pretty alright, but the bald waiter -who appears to be the boss- is a monument to stupidity. He alone just deserves a reflecting lake. The rest of the staff are common and nice people.

Had arguably the worst mexican meal in my life. Previous visit was great, but this time I ordered a beef combo that tasted awful. Complained to staff but still got charged for it. Margarita was good enough to wash off my sorrow.

Mexican restaurant, with a very cool atmosphere. A favourite among British and American expats. Food is great, also the daily menu is worth trying. The place can be very loud on Friday and Saturday evenings.

I was told that this restaurant was the best Mexican restaurant in Budapest. However, after living here for 9 months, I disagree. I grew up eating Mexican food and lived near and travelled to Mexico for many years. The foods that I tried had a terrible flavor. I tried the enchiladas and my friend tried the carne burrito. Everything had odd taste. Besides the food not being up to par, the service was horrible. While a reservation was needed, no one was at the restaurant when we arrived. The food took over an hour to come to the table after sitting down. Part of this is because the wait staff was too busy to tend to customers. (more involved with her phone and chatting with her colleagues). I would rate this as zero stars but that is not possible. There are many restaurants that are great in Budapest and this is at the bottom of my list even after McDonalds.
