Excellent place, food (quite good the red wine), cleaning, WiFi, bed, bathroom. Room service good. Only thing of concerning, is that the location is a bit far from the city. Marvelous landscape.

Beautiful place. When you sit down in the lobby bar terrace you can hear "quiet". It is so good if you are mother of three little children :-) very nice hotel, good welness and tasty kitchen. Try it!

Awesome place, in a old style. Live music at dinner and breakfast with good selection of food. Beautiful surroundings. The rooms varies in size and comfort. No AC.

The staff, combined with the building and the scenery made us truly feel like royalty. A wonderful experience we will seek to repeat. The place needs a bug exterminator though.

A beautiful hotel surrounded by nature. Our room had a balcony with a view to the park and the mountains. The gastronomy (especially the dinner in the evening) needs improvement, and did not do justice to the otherwise luxurious feel of the rooms (the food was way below standard). The musician with electronic keyboard should be dropped and replaced by someone playing grand piano. I am sure it would fill the dinning hall with great music, suitable for the setting, not least Hungarian. (The classical guitar player in the morning was much better.)
There are a lots of things to see and do at Lillafüred, and we are definitely coming back.response / report this review -

Very nice place. The staff members are friendly and well educated. It is not exaggeration: the location of the hotel is unique in the world.

A beautiful old historic hotel, with a nice patio and a restaurant. The food is 7 out of 10. Over looking the lake on one side and the forest on the other. Built on a hill, it is a popular tourist destination.
