This place hits all the right spots. Delicious food. Beautiful interiors. Warm, friendly service. And great for couples like us who like to eat out with kids in tow. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Amazing ambiance, delicious food and very friendly staff. We had a table downstairs in the wine cellar, accompanied with a small band playing Hungarian music (upstairs also looked good, but they 'only' had a DJ playing music). Really had a nice evening here. Thanks for recommending this restaurant Kristi.

This charming restaurant serves outstanding food with effortlessly chic and professional service. Probably one of the best meals I've had in Europe. The onion soup was as good as I had in Lyon, and the ambiance and decor is magical. 5* rating. One of my most positive recommendations of any only restaurant I've been to .

    Pros
    1. The place is overall lovely
    2. Really nice food, tasty and modern Hungarian cuisine
    3. Recommendations from the waiter were really good

    Cons
    1. We were not even seated and the staff asked us already for food and drinks
    2. No champagne glasses or prosecco glasses
    3. Tv and movie shown at the bar is really distracting and not matching the ambiance of the place

Good atmosphere, live music, go there only for the cocktails. Not the food. price and quality doesn't go hand in hand.

We had the best meal there. As good as any international restaurant. Something for everyone, no matter how fussy. Around €50 per head including wine and service. And the food was beautifully presented. Very pleased we knew about it. We ate outside but inside looks beautiful, too.

Fantastic food (the show cooked need cheek was excellent), great service and beautiful ambience. Went Sunday night - had a live band (guitar, double bass, clarinet). All up a wonderful experience.

Fine food, nice atmosphere, but a bit too snobby for my taste

Despite having quite a few bad meals before, I keep returning as it's my friends favourite place. I have to admit it has grown on me.

Check first to see if you like the offerings on the menu as they will never change it. If you don't like anything then I suggest going somewhere else.

The steak is ok, fairly good cuts of meat but the cooking is hit or miss. Better places in Budapest specifically for steak.

The braised beef cheek is good as is the rest of their menu, although again, the menu never changes so make sure you like the sound of it before going.

The fish is decent for Hungary.

The service is always polite and friendly.

The ambience can get quite loud, but sometimes they have a live band which is enjoyable. I prefer going at quieter times though. Lighting is quite dim and yellow but makes for a romantic date place.
