Great food and location, quiet and intime place with a warm, old fashioned atmosphere. I wanted to eat goulash soup and samloi galuska dessert since I was for the first time in Budapest, and these foods were delicious.

Great place for dinner or lunch or just for glass of wine. The food is diverse and very good and also the service. You can pay with the card. They have a tourist menu, traditional Hungarian with good gulas soup.

Great vegetarian options - garden curry and rice was really tasty. Husband (eats meats) loved the goulash soup as starter and main was great too. Service was good too - friendly waiters and quick! Recommend!

Well, the goulash soup was good but don't order the schnitzel! Neither the chicken which is better but certainly not the pork.

I would rate it at 5 out of 10 if it wasn't for the cheap costs of everything. If it were more expensive, it would have been rated at 4 out of 10.

    Staff was lovely and accommodating.

We were suggested this place by the hostel staff where we were staying in.
The staff was fantastic, they found us a table in no time although we were with a buggy and the restaurant was full.
The meal was delicious: goulash was great, I really loved it. I didn't try other Hungarian restaurants so I cannot compare it with others but I'm sure this is a great worth to try if you are interested in the Hungarian cucine.

Has a lovely homely vibe to it. The attendants were very helpful with opinions about the food.
And the food of course is lovely.
Would love to come back and try out all the rest of the menu

I had the deer stew with potato fritters and sponge cake with the house red.

We had the tourist menu when we visited which was amazing. Our waiter (I'm so sorry o can't remember your name) was great, he seated us inside as outside was full but as soon as a table outside became available he asked us if we'd like to move there. Great service, amazing food and brilliant value for money. If you're visiting Budapest this is the place to go without a doubt. Thank you for a lovely meal and brilliant service. Will definatley come again x
