A gigantic basilica that is worth your time by being very beautiful both inside and out (it offers a nice sight of the Danube setting a natural border between Austria and Slovakia)
Big church. Its where king Stepehen baptized & crowned as king. Theres a nice view of danube river & can see Sturovo Slovakia from there.
Plainer that some more Baroque cathedrals. Well worth a visit. It's a long, hard climb from the river, via stairs. There may be a road-train for the less able. After this we walked down the road to the town centre.
This place was a nice way to spend the afternoon! Such a great price to get a breathtaking view. We did the crypts and the dome/bell tower/viewing cafe. €3.
Definitely worth checking out, inside and outside
Another Central European baroque basilica. A lot of gold and marble but no soul. The best the views from the top.
Don't judge it by the picture. It's so huge it'll leave you in awe for hours. If you think you were in for a surprise at the ground floor. Wait till you get on top of the dome.
Absolutely incredible beauty. History on history. The walk to the top of tower could be very difficult for some, but well worth it if you are physically able. The art is incredible and the grounds are charming. Very wide columns and great for many photos. They crypts are also a must-see. After going once, I brought my parents and my in-laws back. Worth the trip.
Visited here back in Sept/Oct 2012. Just an amazing place.Loved the crypt. Oh, don't forget the ancient artifacts tour, you will be amazed! !! Seems like you've stepped back in time.Wunderbar....
