'Cool' hostel in a good location. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious and equipped with a couple of desks and a large window which opened fully (some might call this hazardous but it was a godsend in 37 degree heat). Had a nice social vibe about it - we meet some of the nicest people on our entire trip here - and the staff were friendly. Showers and bathrooms were somewhat basic but perfectly usable. Only real downside is the poor wifi, so if getting online is important to you (it shouldn't be whilst travelling, imo) then do take that into account.

We had a big room on the 4th floor for 10 of us. Good location (as suggested by the name!) shared bathrooms was it a problem as there we plenty, although only one of then mens toilets actually had a lock. There always seemed to be a lack to toilet roll as well. Although this wasn't a problem as you could use usually find some in another cubical. Friendly reception staff and a small kitchen in each floor.

Cheap. Easy. Good location. Not noisy and the guest where all nice. WiFi isnt the best but it is free. Windows are very low so you could easily fall out if drunk.

Very good value economical hostel, clean and fair play decent facilities, not the best showers though but not complaining about the beds and price.

In terms of cleanliness and location, this hostel is what you need. We had a private double room,private bathroom included and it was awesome. Its located downtown and all the tube stations are in walkable distance from it. Clean sheets,kitchen. Elevator is available as well. The best choice you can make for Budapest. The staff is fluent English speakers and very polite.
