Who's Jean Priere Boyer ,
Jean-Pierre Boyer (possibly 15 February 1776 – 9 July 1850) was one of the leaders of the Haitian Revolution, and President of Haitifrom 1818 to 1843. He reunited the north and south of Haiti in 1820 and also annexed newly independent Spanish Haiti (Santo Domingo), which brought all of Hispaniola under one Haitian government by 1822. I came here with American husband and Haitian family friend. We watched them play basketball for almost 2 hours. We walked around, bought some garlic We were fine (we had our family friend with us). It's ok to walk around as long as you have someone who knows the area with you Stay alert and enjoy.

Not a safe place for foreigners. There is nothing to see here. The neighboring businesses and restaurants are safe.
If you enjoy outdoor activities such as jogging or playing basketball, you will enjoy this park.
When you are done excercising, you have different choices of restaurant surrounding it.
There are paid parking spots available.
