  Bring a camera and wear clothes you don't mind getting wet. Beautiful beautiful views. The natives will walk down the staircase pathway with you and help you up to the waterfall. (Be sure to leave them a tip) They'll take your pictures for you as well.

  Every year, thousands flock to Saut d’Eau Waterfalls on a religious pilgrimage to bath in the waters, asking for favors and praying for healing from the Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel.

  Une perle du culte vaudoux, un peu devoye par les nombreux touristes les chuttes de saut d eau restent d une baute et d un mystère incroyables. Connaitre les rites et la culture de saut d eau rendra la visite bien plus attrayante

  Stunning falls within 90 minutes of Port au Prince. Pay a couple of dollars to the gatekeeper and enjoy the wooded grounds that lead to the lower pools of the falls. You'll see locals in varying degrees of undress splashing in the cold water.
  
  This is a sacred spot for Vodou practicioners, so you'll see prayer candles stuck in the rocks around the area. Nice resting places on the trails.
  
  Not handicap/stroller friendly! And it's a good little treck back up to the parking area.
