I love it here! The quaint little book store has so much. I really enjoyed the museum (it has a great deal of history in it)! It was also an honor to spend a good hour or so talking with the Turnbull’s and hearing their ministry there since first coming to Haiti. I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything! Maybe we will hear and see the Turnbull’s honored here in Auburn, Alabama one day for their faithful service of bringing the Gospel to Haiti!

Really a good place to go with children and with friends. Here you can find the only little zoo in Haiti. A peaceful and clean place to have a relax time

I've been going there since i was a kid so it brought me great pleasure to take my kids for the first time. They really enjoyed it. My favorite things to eat there are the granola cookies. Can't go there and not buy a few bags.
It was a pleasant surprise to see that the playground and zoo area expended over the years.

I'm not fully sure of the mission but I love the employment opportunities the Baptist Haiti Mission brings to others. I am saddened by the discrimination I faced while trying to use the restroom as a black woman though. I saw that two of my white friends went to the restroom before me and the workers allowed them to use the restroom in the museum with no hesitation. When I urgently tried to go I was told that there wasn't a bathroom and after about 5 minutes of me asking questions as to how a bathroom disappears, I called over my friend that went to the bathroom before I tried to go and then I was told "the water is too low". I said ok and walked away. I got my other white friend to go ask to use the restroom and as soon as she asked "hey my sister has to use the bathroom can we go" the workers immediately got up to show her to the bathroom, lol funny thing is I immediately walked in behind her (I was her sister). Other than that terrible experience every single person I met outside of the Museum greeted me with good vibes and contribute to my good experience.

A wonderful place to visit.They have a snack bar, craft shop, bakery, museum, amazing playgroup and a mini zoo!! Bring the kids, bring the team, you will be glad you went did I mention it's in the mountains above Petionville and is air-conditioned by mother nature. The views and climate alone are worth the trip.

Excellent place. with restaurant, gift shop, museum, playground for kids and an animal encounter area.
I recommend this place to family traveling with kids under 15 as its really informative and the environment is gorgeous. If you are traveling to Haiti with your family, this is definitely a place to visit.

If you are seeking a place to talk to missionaries and meet people from all over this is it. The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the adjacent mountains. Sandwiches and ice cream are available in US dollar rates. Cold drinks are here as well. Just give them a little while to make it. You can always browse the attached store while you wait. Amongst things to do and see in this guarded safe area are a church, hospital and care areas, a small zoo and more. Just outside of the front gates local vendors will barter for their products. A great respite when on any trip to the beautiful country of Haiti.
