If ever you wanted a restaurant to transport you to the elegance of a bygone era or an Agatha Christie novel, than this is the spot. Frequented by Royalty and Celebrity alike, the atmosphere and service are from another time, yet the menu was a modern foodie’s dream - local gems mixed with the best of an old European palate. The wines were all local and exceeded their French companions at every course. Every glass paired perfectly by the Charming Sommelier, Ivan. Can I come back next year, month, tomorrow?

I went there and had a great experience. The price you pay for the experience it is worth it. I took the 4th course meal. The beef cheeks and foie gras is a must. The selection of Croatian wine was really good too. The restaurant keeps bringing you new tasty dishes before lunch and after desert. I read some bad reviews about this place, however I didn't get any of that.

We dined here in November of 2016 when we were guests at the hotel Zagreb. The meal was memorable, if pricey. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

An unseasonal menu that is woefully executed and does not respect its ingredients. At Zinfandels beautiful delicate crab meat is drowned in citrus, sea urchin custard tastes more like butter than uni, truffle weighed down in cream and and vegetables that are overcooked. Dining here felt sad. Service was dismal and haphazard with waitstaff that dont know their own food or wine and stumble to serve. Worth noting however that there is an extensive gluten-free menu here.

I was very disappointed. I planned a special date night for my girlfriend and I after reading a lot about Zinfandel's before arriving in Zagreb. The service was excellent, the hotel and interior were beautiful, but the food was so disappointing. I got the duck breast and she got the steak and neither of us had anything good to say about it. Overcooked, unoriginal, nothing exciting about either. The wine was good and the dessert was excellent, but for the price, we could have eaten at Mali, Vinodol, and Mundoaka put together and had 3 amazing meals compared to 1 mediocre meal.

Where to begin???ode to all that is delicious, the crisp edge of a linen, the sunlight that dries a tomato that you can spread on a baguette? If you are in zagreb, be good to yourself, enjoy life you only have one, make a reservation😉

We attending this beautiful Resteraunt on the last day of our holiday to Zagbreb, and we had saved the best to last!
The waiting staff looked after us beautifully and our 3 children loved the experience, the samellier made my 6 year old feel like a king when he pourd him a glass of apple juice! The chef also accommodated our Dining requests when we asked for the a starter to be shared, and to increase the portion size of a kids meal for a our 12 year old!

All in all it was at the upper end of our normal price, however it was an experience worth every penny.

Great atmosphere and decor! Loved the food and wine recommended by our waiter. There was also live music, which only added to a great experience. The service was excellent I would highly recommend when visiting the old city of Split.
