  Dirty and full of insects. Standard for hotel in Opetja is quite low for reasonable price range but you definetely dont want to sleep with cucarachas ans spider under your pillow:)

  WARNING - VIOLENT HOMEOWNER
  
  We had a perfectly reasonable stay at the Vila Irma, and we would have gladly recommended it if not to the owner's son RECKLESS AND VIOLENT BEHAVIOR! We took the greatest causion and respect to the room. I don't remember the condition of the refrigerator when we checked in, but the owner's son (Toni) insisted we did some damage to the fridge door - a 4cm superficial scratch. Instead of behaving like a respectable person, he actually took a screwdriver (!) and tried to deliberately scratch our car. This is crazy and totaly beyond any reason or explanation. Things like this can be solved nicely - what kind if a person takes a screwdriver, intimidate his guests and frighten their children?? I tried to reason with him, but he was bent on inflicting damage. Lucky for us my wife took desicive action and put him in his place, not before he PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED HER. We ran away from him shocked. BE WARNED.

  Tre stanze al piano terra della casa padronale, fronte giardino. Gestione familiare e molto discreta. Il proprietario parla italiano. Pulizia ottima e posizione defilata rispetto alla confusione del paese di Abbazia.

  I've been travelling for 7 years all around the world, and I've never met such a dirty place in my life. Cleanliness and insects where the main problems. Spiders, bugs, worms and mosquito all around the room. Spider webs and dust on the ceiling and on the furniture. Wood windows were too old and unable to be closed, curtains were full of spots due to killed insects.
  
  I can tolerate many other problems, like size of the bathroow and poor wifi signal, but hygiene is the priority, and here was totally lacking.
  
  We ran away the day after as soon was possible, cause we weren't able to sleep well, considering all other "small guests" of our room.
