Get there with enough daylight to walk around the lake. It takes 90-120 minutes and is well worth it.

Trakošćan is beautiful old castle from Middle Ages, previously owned by noble people which were of Hungarian descendants and the walk trough is really nice!

It's a nice calm place out of Zagreb. It all depends on your schedule, it's good to see but only if you have other stops planned.
