Reviews were so bad before we arrived we thought about canceling,however our options were limited so we decided to brave it out.Yes the rooms are compact,it can be noisy from both the boats docked outside and the nightclub next door,but it’s not all bad.The breakfast buffet is much better than the reviews (poached eggs made to order),I found the staff friendly and helpful and there’s a complimentary glass of wine each day in the bar area outside..I am not sure about coming here at peak,but right now,it’s ok

Book anywhere else. What a joke of a hotel. It doesn't know if it's a night club or hotel so it decides to be rubbish at both. We stayed in room 109 and the noise from the outside nightclub (till 2 or 3 am) kept us up every single night. There's more room in a North Korean prison cell then there are in the poorly designed rooms at this hotel. The service is pathetic. Nonexistent service would have almost been preferred. They almost went out of their way to make your stay more uncomfortable. I would struggle to recommend this hotel to an enemy.

nothing you read or see will prepare you for the reality of this hotel. overpriced rooms, surly service, and a thumping disco beat from the 'lounge' downstairs. Breakfast is regrettable. Only redeeming feature is the very efficient engineering staff who were handy at repairing the things that did not work in our room, like the lights

Rooms : The rooms are really small, just enough space for a double bed and a desk. There is a compact shower and toilet which bares all. Careful if you are sharing a room with someone you are not intimate with. There is a nice view of the harbour from our window. The bed gave me and my wife a really sore back in the morning, I felt like I had aged 30 years in the space of one night. We read that loud music can be heard from the parties during the evenings however me and wife couldn't hear anything, which could be due to it being the end of the season.

Staff : very well presented and knowledgeable. They were quite helpful in planing our activities.

Food (breakfast only) : it is okay, nothing amazing.

Booked this hotel as two friends sharing a room to find that the bathroom has no privacy (there is no door and a window into the bathroom). Have spoken to the hotel this morning and they have confirmed that all of their rooms are like this and stated that we can switch to their sister hotel (their website is not clear as to whether the bathroom is a normal one (ie a separate room with walls and a door)). Do not book here if you are planning to share and are not comfortable with having your every move in the bathroom on show!

It's a shame because the location is fantastic and the hotel itself looks very modern but think that this is something that should really be pointed out as a lot of people who go away share with friends.

This is the second hotel that I have seen have this as an idea (the other one being in Japan), I don't know why this is a fad as I am sure most people would like to be able to spend time in the bathroom in private at points? Maybe it's just me but thought I'd point this out for anyone else thinking to book.
