Tried only their pork ribs, so the score is based on this one time experience. Ribs were fine, but not much more than fine. They weren't melting in mouth; they should have been cooked on lower temps for longer period of time. Glazing was very good, but the dryness of larger part of ribs took that potential away.
Side dishes were also ok, but nothing remotely spectacular - potatoes and salad.
Prices are high, but that's unfortunately a norm in Opatija.response / report this review -

Beautiful atmosphere with an expansive menu. We only went for this particular seafood dish and left pretty satisfied.

Very massive restaurant business. You reserve a table but when you arrive you still must wait for it and so without a complimentary drink. If you come alone, the manager/owner will treat you poorly; if you are in a larger company, you get better treatment. When you sit, the manager/owner will act extremely friendly (yet very shallow) just to make you spend a lot of money. The crucial information about prices of the food that is not on the menu, he won't say. As a poor manager, he obviously plays the way if you ask the price of the quality food, you don't make well. He would even take away the bread basket from your table to replenish it. (The bread comes with price too!). Some meat dishes don't have joint veggies. Be aware of it. The manager won't hightlight it. You must ask for every single detail and humiliate yourself. I didn't do that, consciously. Despite the fact that the waiter missed to charge me for the first round of drinks, I won't return, nor will I recommend it to my friends and guests. It's a business that takes advantage of it's guests.

When you came to Ruzmarin you feel like they know you. You are treated with respect no matter what you order.The stuff is excellent and the chefs also. We have tried various dishes and they were all excellent -in preparation and presentation and very tasty. The portions are big and the prices are middle range. I will definitely come again.

A very nice restaurant. Good and professional service. Nice ambient. The food is tasty and one can tell, they are using fresh and quality ingredients. The only downside is lack of vegetarian options.

Wonderful food, wine and service in a very nice interior or smallish terrace. Must book in advance as extremely popular. 2 hour time slot allowed on the two occasions we visited so you're not rushed.

Great selection and amazing quality. A little posher than the average place along the beach, but well worth a visit. Good service, waiters speak English, and menus come in 4 languages. I can highly recommend the pizzas, and the mixed grill.

Excellent restaurant with great atmosphere and very very attentive and friendly service. Great food, especially grilled meats and very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back. Don't forget to reserve a table! It's booked most time.

Make sure to place a reservation any time in the year. Outstanding food, totally fair pricing. Perfect evening. Compared to other nearby restaurants the Ruzmarin is from a different universe.

We eat a lot in the restaurants
The place was crowdy..maybe that is the reason for eternal waiting and not cooked foodtasteless and cold

Good place good staff and good food! Very big minus the parking space and the new menu. Old menu was more delicious. One more minus is tge waitimg time.

Nicely designed res. Lovely food and capable service! More than great quality/cost ratio. Beautiful covered terrace, would have been nice if more ic lamps where on and few windows closed. It was very chilly outside. Coming back here to eat when passing by Opatija.
