I had the octopus with Swiss chard and veggies and my girlfriend had the tuna steak. I’ve not had a meal that good in months. It really was fantastic and considering the quality of food, service and ambiance, the price was incredibly reasonable. We paid 300 with drinks and coffees at the end. Top notch 👌

This place was recommended by one of the locals and I was initially very sceptic about it since we are very picky when it comes to food.
We travel with a 9 months old boy and we went to visit this place on a Tuesday night. It is located conveniently on one of the very quiet side streets in Omis just a minute from the main street.
Since it was our first time in Croatia and we are not familiar with local wine we asked the server for a recommendation and she suggested the Sauvignon Cmrečnjak 2015 white. I usually prefer red wine but this one was absolutely amazing. Cooled down to the right temperature while it was still hot outside, it was very refreshing.
When it comes to food we ordered a salad with shrimp that I forgot to take a picture of and also garlic bread. Both were delicious. For the main course I ordered a mix seafood plate (picture attached) that consisted of ham wrapped monkfish, shrimp and stuffed calamari. The fish and shrimp were amazing but I wasn't a big fan of the stuffed calamari since it stuffing seemed to be a little bit too bitter but the rest of the plate making up for this one. The lady ordered some pasta with shrimp and salmon (picture attached) and it was also very good.
Pricewise the place is on an average side, for two bottles of wine (yes, it was delicious), 2 appetizers, and the main course for both ~700HRK which is equivalent to ~$100.
The service was also amazing. We live in the US and whenever we travel in Europe we are very disappointed since they don't follow up top often and they don't pay attention if glasses are still full of if everything else is needed. This place is different, we had a person checking every few mins on us and we loved it. We always had what we wanted (eating out with a baby is not too easy).
Two days before we went to Bastion which is located on the main street and we spent a similar amount of money but we were not as happy as at this place.response / report this review -

Had lunch or dinner here three times in one week and were consistently very happy. The beef salad was a big hit within our group but pretty much everything we tried (pizzas, pasta, grilled meat, other salads, drinks) was great. We usually eat outdoors, but since we were a big group (9 people and no reservation) we had to sit indoors once and it was also really appealing with beautiful paintings of local landscapes. The service was always excellent.

Others wrote "sea food is great". I say nothing from sea is fresh in this restaurant and don't taste as it can when its good. Much better restaurants nearby. Choose another place.
