Ein, für uns, wirklich empfehlenswertes Restaurant!
Sehr freundlicher Kellner (Inhaber) der sich sehr um seine Gäste bemüht.
Man(n) spricht halbwegs gut deutsch und ist äusserst flexibel.
In unserem Fall ein ausser Haus Essen
Die Karte ist überschaubar aber reichhaltig genug.
Was aus der Küche kam war durchweg sehr gut

Sollte uns unser Weg wiedereinmal in diese Gegend führen werden wir hier garantiert wieder ein Abendessen geniessen.

1. Das Essen war sehr frisch und schmackhaft, also 4 Sterne
2. Dem eigenen an sich gestellten Anspruch gehobener Gastronomie wird das Restaurant nicht gerecht, also 2 Sterne
3. Das Ambiente ist altbacken, es ist aber alles ordentlich und sauber, also 2 Sterne

Gesamturteil: 3 Sterne, nicht mehr und nicht weniger

Wir speisten sehr gut und wurden freundlich bedient. Die Nähe der Hauptstraße stört nur auf dem ersten Bild man sitzt darüber und geniesst den Ausblick auf's Meer.

Had lunch with my husband at Frankopan. The meal and service was a 4 star. But the price was way to high for what we ate and the ambience was so so, 3 stars. I was appalled that they charged us more then what the price was on the menu. We didn't want to make a show out of it so we just paid the bill and decided never to return again. First the view. If you looked to the right you see a refinery. Look down, you see the roof of a gas station. Now if you look straight ahead at a 45 degree angle you got a view of the Kvarner Bay. We were charged $78 for a simple octopus salad for 2, 2 side orders of blitva (that's potatoes with collard greens), plate of 1 Orada grilled fish, 1 plate of 6 small size squids stuffed with bits of shrimp and squid, and 1/2 liter of white cheap house wine. I should of known something was not right when we arrived and noticed not a soul around. A lesson to be learned.
