Hotel Is nothing like photo although had a repaint and made to look fancy the food is always the same warm bland and not very appealing all inclusive is a joke you only get the drinks they serve and not the ones you may require unless you want to pay they don’t serve tea and coffee at lunch and dinner the cold drinks are cheap and nasty the outdoor buffet place stinks the entertainment is very poor the staff are nice and friendly the only positive thing I can say it’s a beautiful country there’s a supermarket 15 mins walk a few bars and restaurants outside beach is very small and full of huge stones and being told where you can sit in the restaurant what’s that about never ever have I experienced that they do 2 types of pizza margarita and margarita with 2 small prawns on not worth the money really would not come back here again it’s ok if you want to sit around the pool all day but we me and my hubby love to explore the only other good thing it’s very cheap here I would not give this hotel 4 stars possibly 2/3 it’s wrong to advertise the hotel like in the pictures it’s nothing like that the balcony was very small as well although had a nice sea view Albross hotel sort it out and maybe cater for everyone

Nice hotel in a good spot, just been redecorated to a high standard. Walking distance to Cavtat bars and restaurant and a regular boat service to Dubrovnik old town for 100 kuna per person return. The food is what you expect of an all inclusive resort and there is a good range of alcohol on offer. Would stay here again.

Very enjoyable holiday.great location.clean hotel.staff courteous and friendly
No privacy on balconies they're too open you could go along from one end to next so security wise not good

Very nice hotel with stunning views. The rooms were a good size and very clean. We were all inclusive, the meals were buffet style with a good variety to suit everyone. The drinks service in the restaurant and bar was very good, we were asked promptly every evening what we wanted to drink and jugs of wine were available at lunch time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Having a great time here, the staff are so friendly and helpful & the activity staff are second to none. We have joined in things we have never done before & had a great time. They work so hard with evening entertainment & last night they did songs & dances from around the world which was fabulous. I just wish they could start at 9pm instead of 9.30, especially when you have had a long day out.
Food could be a bit better & the hotel is looking a little tired but I think things are being done about that. Would come back again

Awesome. Just don't expect ordinary sausage and bacon. Quite a few steps. Restaurant always busy. Service very good. Drinks very generous. Pools fantastic. Beach really close with great activities. Just a pleasant 15 minute stroll into Cavtat ( tsavtat) which is absolutely beautiful in itself. Great views. Water taxi into Dubrovnik very easy 80 Kuna return each. Takes about 45 mins very pleasant. Overall. Albatross hotel, brilliant, staff,brilliant, location, brilliant, facilities brilliant. Enjoy x

Hotel rooms are a little dated. Air con isn't very cold and fridge isn't either but beautiful spot nice beach (get there early to secure your spot!) Lovely pool with activities. Good evening entertainment. Good for kids. Food is average but with a wide selection. Overall a good stay

Large family orientated hotel on outskirts of Cavtat. Rooms have sea or side sea views some with great view of Dubrovnik old town walls. The rooms are a bit dated & mealtimes can be a bit chaotic but overall a decent hotel suited to all ages.

Been to snack bar today and it's a new chief that's started. We ordered 3 cheeseburgers had to wait an hour and 3 chicken burgers arrived doh. 15 mins later and said cheeseburgers arrived. After delving through the salad for a couple of minutes I found what was described as a burger there's more meet in these bitesize ones you get for parties!!!!!! This guy needs a size 10 straight out the door.

Brown water. Wi-fi is just slightly ahead of dial-up speeds (barely usable). Almost impossible to get a seat in the dining room, but when you do you will have to clear & set your own table, with crumbs and stains from the previous guests. The food has often gone cold by the time you are seated.

The catering staff are great & work so hard, but they are so understaffed. You will often find a queue of 10-15 people with one poor barman trying to serve everybody in time. Looks like management being cheap with the staffing costs, not really caring if the guests have an enjoyable stay.

Air con is apparently turned off in September, along with the heating for your towel rack. The shower curtains do not work and you will likely flood your bathroom. The indoor pool is Arctic temperature. No kettle/iron in the rooms at all.

The average age of the guests is between 72-104. The entertainment for the past two days has been "old people dancing in a circle for 3 hours".

This is not a 4* hotel and you can see by reviews over the years that the place is slowly tumbling downhill. I can't say if other local hotels are better, but in future I would avoid this place like the plague and try somewhere else.

Just returned from a 2 week break with my family. What can i say, Cavtat is beautiful, the hotel is excellent & the staff absolutely superb!! Nothing was too much trouble & we were looked after like royalty!!@. Will definately be returning. Animation team made our holiday that bit extra special & we made some really good friends in them. BRILLIANT!!!!

Very good hotel. Very friendly staff, good food. My husband was surprised when he received a bottle of Brut and woucher for the massage on his birthday.Thank you.
