Clean, comfortable. Cool decor. We had to leave before breakfast, so they packed a nice lunch-to-go for us. No elevators and as many as three flights of stairs depending on which floor your room is on. Short walk to Old Town down a nice path (with stairs steps). Friendly, helpful staff. The air conditioning worked well. We had a poolside beautiful view of the sea. The room was quiet. We would stay there again.

The place is good, staff is average. I eat pasta Bolognese and when Waiter took my plate she let the fork fall in my polo t-shirt and she didn't even bother saying anything, my t-shirt was completely ruined, seriously with tomato sauce all over it. She just got the fork from the floor and ran away like she was on a triathlon race or something.
The place was full of some crack head British people screaming and drinking their ass off, one of them was wearing some sadomasochist clothes and with a gigantic plastic dildo on it, it was really bizarre.
The rooms are nice, well equipped and with a comfortable bed.
They allow us to leave our bags there but there was no locker room, luckily nothing happened to my stuff.
Hotel have a great pool and good installations, the breakfast was good, but the British people and the waiter ruining my t-shirt got them a overall bad review in my opinion.response / report this review -

Can not fault the Pharos Hvar hotel as soon as we walked thru the front door and greeted by the lovely receptionist in Ines we were made to feel very welcomed would definitely recommend to others.Rooms are clean and bathroom has everything to make your stay very comfortable

Stayed here for 4 nights. Has great breakfast and a nice pool. Staff are friendly. Rooms are a little small but are bright and well designed. Would be better with small additions like a freezer for the room.

We were excited to go to this hotel after reading a great review in The Telegraph, but were very disappointed and will not be coming back.
The hotel looks pretty on the surface, but left much to be desired after our stay. The walls are made of paper meaning you can hear everything and a lie in past 7:30 is practically impossible. The shower went from freezing cold to boiling hot constantly and the bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast was OK but the staff were reluctant to restock food, and were rude to a guest when they asked for more sliced bread. The restaurant served average food, which is expensive and came cold. We will not be returning and would not recommend others to stay.response / report this review -

Staff is super ignorant. Rooms are so uncomfortable and even if you make little sounds the rooms next door can hear you. The worst breakfast served. It's a 10 minute down to the city. Walk uphill is a task. Not recommended . 24 hours help desk is snoring and no help is provided. Rom service is unavailable because it's a 3 star and they are proud about it . The worst experience ever and zero worth for money. If I could give no stars I would.posting this sitting in my room

Trendy, aimed at younger clientele. Personally I would prefer a rubber mat in the ridiculously slippery shower rather than the hip comic art tiles!

Fabulous hotel, from the contemporary junior suite with uber cool decor, warm , friendly staff, superb breakfast and clean rooms. Location also awesome. Close to beach and short walk to town square. Highly recommend!

Very retro modern chic hipster recently refurbished IKEA catalogue sort of motel hotel.
The food and drinks were good.
The breakfast was just on the wrong side of budget.
There was a strange smell of garbage over the hotel pool the whole time we were there. It got so bad sometimes that you had to go underwater to avoid it. But you always have to come up for air don't you.

Nice hotel. Has the university vibe to it. It has been refurbished. It is on top of a hill though, for those going up there without a car.
