We took a long walk but reaching Joe's Beach at sunset was worth it. The churches and dwellings along the way we're gorgeous as well. Fun to stumble upon them one after another. Very scenic walks.

This is an absolutely beautiful park. It is very large with many pathways winding through the wilderness. If you want more of a view of the sea. The main path goes around the whole park right next to the water. This offers many places to stop and swim, great for those really hot days. There are public showers scatter throughout the park too.
Once you get to the far East end of the park there is a mini recreation center with a soccer field and a few other courts. There is even a restaurant located here too.
Over all this is a wonderful place to go for the day. Get a picnic basket and some beers and make a day of it! You won't regret it.response / report this review -

There is a bar with a really nice view when you enter the the park. Park is great for a walk or jogging. One could also walk/run around the park, will be quite a long trip tho. Park is filled with different paths which enable you to take shortcuts (added a picture of the map). Enjoy :)

This is a great place in nature to walk or ride a bicycle. It has easy access to several beaches as well as many places to sit and rest or to just enjoy the area. There are many hiking paths, or trails, and along the seaside there are cafe's where you can get something to eat or drink. The main path is paved so even though the walk is on hilly terrain it's an easy walk or ride.

Awesome place to get exercise in nature. Ride your bike or run on the roads that are closed for traffic, hike, enjoy the beach, this place has it all, and it's really close to downtown Split.

Great place if you fancy getting away from split centre for a few hours. It is hilly which may not suit everyone, but the views of split and the sea are amazing. We walked from the palace and went up the steps and around the edge or the park, stopped off at a couple of beaches on the way, and had a really lovely day.

Went biking with my brother in law and that was one of the best experiences I had in Split. I super like this place because it is promoting fitness and wellness to everyone. It‘s also a great place for family to spend time together. At the end of Marjan there will be a place with a picturesque view of Riva, Split.

Great hike and amazing view! Took us about 3-4 hours but we did a bunch of trails. The view the west side is beautiful and worth the climb up (bunch of stairs).

A highlight of my trip to Split. Easy to navigate and just beautiful views for the whole trip. Me and my partner did the full map walk so ended up being over 13km but (pardon the pun) it was such a walk in the park given the views and natural beauty. Saw about 4 cute lizards running along the walls. Free entry so not one bad thing about it. Two beaches on the site, Joe's and Bene's. Bene Beach was far more family friendly with lots of facilities for kids (sports courts, trampolines, playground). Rocky beach but surfaced out so it is safe to run around. Joe's is a little more luxurious and would be better for adults and couples who want to relax, swim or sunbathe more peacefully.

The hill itself is beautiful that's worth half a day to explore. However I found the view is not that nice since the top of the hill is pretty distant from city's downtown and what's left is blocked by the bushes and trees. The hike is fairly easy as the routes are well designed and maintained.

Half a day at least must be set aside for Marjan hill. This place was incredibly beautiful with picturesque views and hidden beaches such as casjuni beach.
It was not at all crowded and the 'hike' is not at all demanding although you initially go up quite a few steps which may be difficult for the elderly.
The beaches were incredibly clean and refreshing. If you're going in the summer DO NOT FORGET YOUR HATS!response / report this review -

We walked from split town center all the way to the tip of the peninsula. Really great walk and amazing views. Surprisingly quiet. Even in the height of summer, the walk is doable as there's plenty of shade. The hermitages are really interesting. Only welcome addition would be maps that show the foot paths through the forest.

Amazing chilled out beach. A day there can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be. We opted to pay for the lovely sunbeds and had drinks and sandwiches from Joes beach bar. The water was by far the nicest we have experienced im Split

Wonderful place, you can see beautiful flora and also panorama of Split. You can also get to Kajsuni Beach, which is a cameral place with beautiful water and views.

It's a nice place to take a walk, ride a bike, or for jogging. There's also some nice beaches and a restaurant.

Amazing views over Split. We cycled around the coast and then through the more hilly parts. I would definitely recommend a cycle around, it was breathtaking. The walk along the coast is better as you have a few stops for the loo or a drink and this route is also more scenic.
