Great spot by the beach. Nice service and quick serving. The food was very good and deliciously served. Great dishes. We ate bruschetta and chicken in tortilla
The grilled squid was out of this world. Highly recommend. I wasn't expecting it from this sort of place but, honestly, epic.
2 bones in the burger, friend ordered chicken tortilla but no chicken came, had to remind waiter to get ketchup and mayo event though it wasn't busy. Expensive but expected for an island. Hard to get the waiters attention. Nothing special except for view.
Lovely view, tasty fresh dishes and very good value for money. It's about 25 minutes walk from Hvar town but worth the walk there. The octopus salad was delicious. Friendly staff. Highly recommend it.
Wouldn't come back here. We weren't sure on approaching this restaurant whether it was open for business since there were no lights on outside. Just very small candles, so dim that it was impossible to read the menu without using the torches on our phones. We asked the seemingly quite stoned but friendly waiter for another candle but alas it was not forthcoming. That said, we eventually managed to make our order of a tuna salad and hamburger with fries.
On ordering the hamburger I was asked if I would like ketchup or mayonnaise on it. Or both? I opted for both and noted that this wasnt a good sign.
When it arrived, it appeared to be a burger Van-type flat burger, almost certainly frozen and warmed up. The fries were also almost certainly oven chips, not fried at all. My partners tuna salad still had the curve of the tin writ large on the side of the tuna. A shame, we thought since we were by the sea it might have been fresher. Not fresh out of the tin. They could have at least hidden it better.
We have come to understand that at Croatian restaurants there is usually olive oil and wine vinegar on the tables. My partner observed that the olive oil looked totally colourless. I confirmed with my nose that it was in fact vegetable oil. When we asked for olive oil some was brought out fairly swiftly.
We have also come to understand that most Croatian restaurants play music, and it isn't always too our tastes. The music was fairly quiet towards the start of our visit, but nearer the end they put on this awful muzak piano depressing drivel, akin to the soundtrack of an early 90s soft porn film, that went on for around 15 minutes straight per song. It was excruciating. We wouldn't recommend this place. We would recommend the place at the other end of the beach, which was lovely.
Good food, great portions at cheap prices. Service is good and location amazing!
Good service, nice views and good food!
Sehr schöne Strandbar mit sehr guten Essen. Unter den Palmen hat man eine grandiose Aussicht auf die Bucht.
Good Service and food, a beer costs 25 Kuna
