Drivers and staffs although aren't very versed in English try hard to help tourists.
OMG! This is the worst bus station. The staffs at ticket office are really really rude!! I missed my bus because of them as well :(
Terrible place. They don't take credit cards in such a major tourist centre.
Station is OK. But Taxi drivers are not. They will take all yor money and don't even think to call Uber , it will happen the same thing.
The only good things about the station are the places to charge your phone and the information point. The WiFi and the WC are paid. Bad location - far from the city centre. People are always leaving the door open - as a result you are freezing even if you are inside(I am talking about the winter).
They're doing better; multiple passes, no eye contact — or just loitering diligently in the vicinity. I figure if I'm offensive enough you people will all drop dead. Then I'll just be left with the Jews and the Chinese, neither of whom have any shame. Sin verguenza.
Outside the city centre, this bus station lacks of almost every comfort. Would be better to be more near the old town!
Buses start and arrive from almost every part of Croatia and the neighborhood.
Some people standing there and offering cheap rides to the city and back, that don't come and take you back, so you have to walk thru the whole city.
This station is very old-fashioned for such a busy tourist spot. No electronic table, no full information. Not acceptance of credit cards, why? Only cash purchases. By the way, the exchange rate in Dubrovnik is really extortionate, no matter where, in ATM too
The staff at the tourist information booth was very rude and unhelpful. It's a shame that the hospitality for a city with this many tourists can be so bad.
VERY rude and unhelpful staff at the information booth. We visited the station tbe day beforw our departure and after being totally ignored by one lady, we were told by another that 'Croatia Bus' will only accept printed confirmation I.e. they will not accept the email on your phone/tablet etc but they would not print our tickets or advise where we could have this done. The staff at the station were rude and totally unhelpful. Fortunately the guys at the local tourist office are much more helpful and printed our tickets😊 apparently this happens all the time.
To be fair on 'Croatia Bus' the staff were fine and they may have accepted the email version.
Any way of giving this place a minus 5 stars. Really for a tourist town should that. It have more friendly staff and better information. Come on Dubrovnik sort this out.
Two big surprises just before leaving Croatia.
Tickets only cash in Kuna.
no pre-notice for baggage charge when buying the ticket.
Very expensive taxis and dreadful rates at the only money changer don't give a great first impression of Dubrovnik or Croatia.
