We ate at Lokanda Peskarija last night and it was pretty terrible. We ordered the seafood platter (their supposed speciality) and it was made with FROZEN FISH!!! Our waiter (who was dismissive, but more on that later) told us after we said that the sardines, mackerel and swordfish were tough - "Yes, I see. It's because they're frozen". The mussels and prawns, however, were excellent but the squid were mostly served with the inedible quill still inside them.

Whilst we were eating, it started to rain and we were told we'd have to move ourselves under an umbrella (rather then put up the umbrella that was right next to us). We did this (along with all the other patrons who were also eating) while the servers cleared the already empty tables instead.

The setting is stunning but they're totally relying on this rather than serving quality food. Don't go here. Go to Koloseum instead. We really enjoyed their seafood platter and the team who work there were friendly, accommodating and knowledgable.

The first impression is very good, the location is amazing and we where served with an amazing whine. We ordered the fish platter, it was finished in no time and didn't taste that good. The probably can serve it so quickly because it is already prepared and only needs heating. So only go there to enjoy a glass of whine with the amazing view, avoid the food.

Dissapointing place. Much hyped by travel bloggers and the like. View and location are great, right on the marina in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Home of G.O.T! Pot style seafood lunch, but not as tasty, nor as good as ALL have stated. Much higher quality eats just around the corner in nearby square. Wish we had seen that one first.

Nice place, good food, lovely scenery, loads of space to sit outside with friends & family. However, the service can be a bit slow because they always seem to be busy.

Very delicious sea foods. Reasonable prices. Nice sea view and also great interior (due to the bad weather, we had lunch inside. Nevertheless, we satisfied all). Everyone of the restaurant was kind and nice. I personally loved the baby octopus dish.

Reasonably priced, good food, fantastic location watching over the harbour. Very touristy but a relaxing place to watch the boats regardless of the busy tourist traffic.

Food was okay and service was okay but nothing impressive. When I asked about a table for 4 people, the waiter just lifted his Shoulders and said that when we see one free table then we can use it. Customer service needs some work there. For me it was the last time.

Possibly the worst meal we've had. Disappointing. Just a little effort would go a long way. Example: the squid wasn't cleaned properly. Still had the hard inside bit in most of them. Muscles were small and again not cleaned; had the grassy bit still hanging out. The fish was dry/overcooked. I kept finding fish scales in my mouth. I'm horrified to imagine what state the kitchen would have to be in to produce this terrible quality food.

Tourist trap. I should have known better but I read a blog about it and thought I'd give it another try. Food was not good. Fried calamari was cooked well as it was not over cooked but the breading was soft and there was no flavor or sauce to go with it. The sardines, swordfish, and mackerel were very dry. Mussels were too salty. I was feeding a feral cat and it went for the fish and avoided everything else. It was not worth what we paid and on top of it all, service was not included which I have not seen except for here. Service was so-so.

Squids were not cleaned nor baked. Mussels were not cleaned. Octopus salad was good. Not a good deal to get good products badly cooked. Service is OK. Nice staff.

Food is plentiful (2 dishes was too much food for just two of us), prices aren't bad and service was nice, but the food itself was only ok. Risotto was still pretty crunchy and the small fried whitefish are good when hot but are a bit bland when they cool down. They could use a dipping sauce and definitely need to be eaten right away. Sat upstairs since it was a bit cool, but could see it being a lovely place to sit outside during the warmer months with its location right next to the water. They have menus in a bunch of different languages, including Korean (pictured as well).

At the evening it is really crowded place. Good, fresh sea food. Big servings. "Standard" Dubrovnik prices. Lovely view at the night.

Lovely location nestled in the corner of the old harbour. Food was good, if uninspiring but reasonably priced by Dubrovnik's standards. Beer (40kn) and glass of wine (24kn) were well priced.

Servers were happy to help, but you must be proactive in getting their attention. Also, ask about portion sizes before ordering, we took 2 risottos and barely ate half.

The location of this place is very nice. The time when we visited was night and we could enjoy the view.
As for food, It was very nice, but I felt the seasoning of the dishes are little bit weak. The price is "Dubrovnik price", which is higher that other places in Croatia.
It is good if we think we pay for the view of the port.

The pudding was nice.
